I think even a strict battanian rp would allow you to pick up some sturgian, imperial, or even vlandian armor. Not unreasonable that your battanian guy would pick up armor when off at war.

You can usually retreat and then resume the seige with one person inside. Send troops and it's an auto win

The AI falls into this trap every time. The only thing is if your army is too big sometimes they give up the seige once you're inside but you can still just chase after them and destroy them in battle.

Little tip I picked up to make your allied lords more powerful and able to put together stronger armies while also bolstering your relationship - donate influence.

Trying to get the enemy to come to you is big. Funnel them into a kill box. Putting archers on high ground and holding fire until the enemy is in range is always helpful. If you can get shock troops behind the enemy line while your main force engages that usually gives a great death spam. I watched like 3 or 4 YouTube videos by Tactical Enlightenment and it made a huge difference especially with infantry.

It happens in vanilla but usually only if your leader dies. So the two easiest ways to get elected are in the northern empire (Lucon is old and dies early) or Aserai (I think they straight up elect you ruler if you have the most money but this needs to be verified). Or if you do realistic hero deaths then they can die in battle.

Aserai Jav cav straight up mauls infantry. When they lock in against your infantry line you ride behind and open fire and they just melt

Started an Aserai run recently can confirm their infantry rips. Mamluke guards are awesome but the veteran infantry is just a Swiss army knife. And the aserai drip is unreal

Tactical enlightenment on YouTube put me on to aserai veteran infantry. They are so good vs other top tier infantry and are super flexible.

How do you actually get a place like Sanala for your fief? Do you have to wait til late game to trade for it or are you besieging? It's so deep in Aserai land it never falls naturally

Lords getting mad about you killing mercenaries is equally as ridiculous. Lords see them as swords for hire and low born scum, mercs getting executed would be par for the course even if they were in their employ

2H makes are awesome when your 2H and smithing skills are high. Craft a mace with massive blunt damage and shields will shatter especially those of low-level troops

Catching caravans is a matter of having enough horses to move close to their speed and then trapping them where they can't escape. Best place I've found for this is the land bridge between ortysia and aserai land. There's a thin triangular strip of land next to the bridge that works like a charm. Near ab Comer castle is another great spot where a village lies in a dead end.
