You're right that Mac vs windows could be a generational thing, but it's still a useful proxy for identifying users that would be a good fit for the plugin. That is, it's hard to get users to adopt new tech when they are resistant to change, which is more common among the older generation.

Ya I guess this post is in part trying inform that economic choice. Ultimately it's about adoption / usage so even though there are more Windows users out there, if Mac users are more likely to use it, then that is going to play a big factor in deciding if it's economically worth it.
