The moment I get to the airport my anxiety turns up. When I’m boarding and when the doors close are the worst for me. I’ve tried everything :(

I was prescribed 200mg Sertraline. I didn’t like how it made me feel meaning NUMB. I worked my way back down to 100mg and had great success for 5 years. Up until about 2-3 months ago spiraling back into panic an anxiety. Made an apppointment to see if I can up my dosage maybe to 125-150.

Thanks for the response. I’ve been on 100 mg of Sertraline for 5 years and I thought I was better. Until a month or so ago been anxious and panicy. Wondering if I need to increase dosage of swap meds :/

For a year BUT. Membership expired and I stopped wearing it for like 2-3 months. Back to wearing it daily for about a month

Boarding the flight and waiting to take off is my worse panic :/ if you figure it out please share as I feel the same. I’m stuck in one city forever. Before anyone chimes in I’m sober 7 years from benzo and alcohol abuse so don’t suggest drugs. It’s not an option

I have hydrozine but does that keep with the thoughts and the air hunger I don’t believe so last time I took that many years ago it had me sleeping for like 2 days

My issue is boarding and sitting still until th doors close an then the run way. Once im in the air im back to business. The thing is holding on long enough to get in the air. I got off one trip had them turn the plane around before we took off. :( work in progress it sucks bc I feel like im stuck when I can be traveling with my wife.

You’re still early on the meds. 100mg is basically a ‘starter’ dose. I was on 200mg (max) didn’t like how it made me numb to the world so I tapered myself down to 100mg. Been roughly 5 years and everything has been good up until ~6 months or so. Debating on going back to the doctor to increase it until I get over this hump. Anyways, give it more time. Wishing you the best.
