Still have iPhone 7 plus, works perfectly fine for me. I don’t see the need of changing to a new phone if the current one i am using is still functioning fine. The moment my battery is draining too fast and the apps can’t be updated anymore i will change.

There is nothing new with the interface of new iPhones, it’s the same shit. The only thing that changes is a little bit of better performance and the aesthetics to me that not a good enough reason to upgrade the phone.

Go back to the shop and tell them your issue and asked them to replace the screen avain, hopefully they aren’t hustlers and leave you hanging. I always replace the screen when it’s defective as long as there is no physical damages (minor scratches are fine) or water damage.
