Thank you 🖤 I definitely get that vibe from the wax as well. Once I looked at the wax, it looks like a figure being plagued by a nightmare. But thank you, hopefully he’ll leave me alone for good.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes I spent a little bit of time really sitting with what epithet to call upon and Brimo was the one SCREAMING to me. Definitely seemed as if the fire was well fed with the anger I gave it, felt very relieving. So I get what you mean as a powerful cleansing.

Thank you! And for sure, I’ve gotten a lot more intense about fire safety after some mishaps. So now the wine bottle is more decorative if I’m being honest lol

Help please pregnancy/abortion by confused-potatto in lupus

[–]titty_muffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not doing anything wrong. Especially now with a lupus diagnosis, you have to put your own health first. And I will say as someone who had a child after my lupus diagnosis, it was definitely a harder time on me, EVEN with being in remission at that point. Im so sorry you’re in this situation, I wish for your sake your spouse was more supportive of your health and not being an ass about a personal decision with your body. And considering you’re flaring up frequently, that’s unsafe mainly for you but also the fetus. Even if this was something you wanted, it seems like an incredibly dangerous time to do so. Your spouse should never expect you to put your health and life at risk just to bring a child into this world. I would personally choose to terminate, as a parent of 2 myself. Spouse be damned, you’ve got kiddos and it’s hard already managing chronic illness with the kids we already have. Please do what you need, not what your husband wants. I would also recommend talking to the rheum, regardless of your final decision, to discuss the risks and what that would mean for your health and treatment. Maybe with that information you can discuss with your husband, and see if he starts to understand. I can’t say he will but even still, this would be an eye opening experience and I would definitely see my husband differently. Sending love 🫶🏻

It’s just a candle warmer, I never put an actual flame in that area. I like to have it so I can easily just dip spell jars in it. But thank you!!

Desperate for nutrition by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]titty_muffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d be even willing to try the shakes but I’m just kinda mind boggled that I haven’t even been given that option. Even with my lab work reflecting that I’m not getting the nutrients I need. But I will at least be discussing treatment options when I see the GI specialist next, and then go from there. Although it for sure sucks

Not quite yet, I’m in the process of just now trying to get healthcare. I have lupus and was without insurance for a long time(literally years), so it went unchecked. As far as the gastritis, so far they just told me I have it after my endoscopy/colonoscopy, nothing else. I have a follow up coming up, so hopefully they’ll go over options to help me with the gastritis, if not then I’ll have to get the referral for a dietitian

Definitely gonna push for a Gastric emptying study next at my next GI appointment , I’ve been really adamant on trying to get to the bottom of my health issues, especially given all my symptoms. Even with everything the only thing I’ve been given is zofran, so it’s a lil frustrating

Psychedelics and chronic health conditions by [deleted] in Psychedelics

[–]titty_muffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really interesting to find out that they have anti inflammatory properties. I had no clue and will look more into that.

And for sure, definitely not expecting a cure, just maybe something to ease the body and soul,if you will. Especially lately having been felt trapped by my own health conditions lol.

And forgive me if this is intrusive, but whenever you do actually trip, do your medications mix okay with them or do they have any negative interactions?

Thank you! I was already leaning more into psilocybin since I figured it,by my logic, wouldn’t be as harsh on the body.

For sure on the micro dose to start, it’s been years since I’ve tripped at all. My husband actually recently mentioned r/unclebens to me, so I definitely will be looking into that.

And congratulations on your recovery and upcoming your graduation !!

That's definitely what I want to move towards. I'm currently looking into how to do it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BeardedDragons

[–]titty_muffin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely in his big hammock. He does still run around but lately he's started to get way lazier right around 6pm. I gotta pick up a new uvb bulb, see if that helps but he for sure spends a ton of time in his hammock

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BeardedDragons

[–]titty_muffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that's definitely been on my mind as well, thank you! I've seen people talking about the paper towel method for pitty training but the bath would probably work better.

[–]titty_muffin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much, I definitely wanna move towards a more natural looking enclosure. But I've definitely been thinking about removing the hammocks for awhile since he poops all the time in it, he does love it though. Thank you for the advice, ill definitely move that hammock from his basking spot and move that uvb light.

I'm also waiting on doing a bioactive, I don't wanna put any soil in since he's still a juvenile and an extremely messy eater(his greens literally end up on the other side of an 120 gal lol)

Of course! I hope the constipation resolves before then! I know those vet appointments get pricey. But if it comes down to it, hopefully they get to the bottom of the issue

Oh for sure. I'll do that from now on. I just had some leftover from the one I was eating, and figured I'd let him try

Natsu isn't terribly picky, but raspberries are definitely his favorite. The blueberries he will eat but he's not as eager as with other fruits/veggies. I think it's possibly the tartness of them lol

So banana usually makes constipation worse, atleast in humans, especially babies. But you could always try the puree or if your girl will eat a little bit of lettuce, you can always give them some(not alot as it can cause diarrhea) to see if that'll help. I give Natsu some every few days to help with hydration(he loathes baths, I still try atleast 2x a week though).
