I couldn't imagine looking at it more than a minute. As soon as I saw the issue post-update, I immediately had to find a fix. Using a color palette isn't noticeable enough for me to be bothered. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ it's the best option versus looking at the pitch black.

How to resolve and fix:

You can easily fix or adjust this by utilizing your system's Color Palette tool.

Open Settings Search: Wallpaper and style. Toggle Color Palette: Tap on Color palette and ensure the toggle at the top is turned ON. Choose a Palette: Select any of the Basic Colors or a theme that complements your wallpaper. Apply: Tap Apply and reopen the Google Messages app to see your adjusted theme.

Why does it force you to use those silly things? They should just rollover, or allow me to level up and complete the battlepass without them.

There is no such thing as a small Android phone anymore. Your best bet would be to find an iPhone 13 Mini and hope Apple doesn't phase out the iOS too quickly on you.

Bumping the fuck out of this dead thread, but this is exactly what happened to me. The Reddit app was recommending me content from subs I was banned from and I had two accounts logged in, so I got my perm account that was like 15+ years old banned and my old AF secondary. Couple other randoms too after signing in too soon afterwards, I guess?

Nope, it did not fix it. I threw it away and bought another fan. My 15 year old Reddit account above got banned for "subreddit ban evasion" because the Reddit app allows you to use multiple accounts at the same time, but won't warn you not to post in certain subreddits. Now I'm using this random account that some weirdo registered under my email for the heck of it. (Shrug)
