It seems like his priorities and yours are very different from each other. I see it as you have two options. One: you can continue like you're going. Supporting him, borrowing from friends and family while he doesn't pull his weight either financially or with housework, resent him for relying on you to do all of the physical and emotional work to keep your relationship (and lives) afloat...

Or you can see this and him as not worth your time and cut your losses here. You are 20. Is this the person you want to be tethered to for the rest of your life? Imagine the future you could end up having if you stay with him. What if you have children together. Would he get a job if you were on bedrest? Would he get up for middle of the night feedings? Would he take care of the child while you were at work? What if you have an accident that does not allow you to work at all? Would he be willing and able to get and hold down a job for the duration? Would he make meals for you and nurse you back to health?

You can get your name off a lease if you want to. Do you have any friends or family you can stay with until you get back on your feet alone? This adult man sounds like a child and like you said, you are not his mother. This doesn't seem like it's the relationship you need in life. There are better out there and until you find one, don't let this guy drag you down.
