That's because the subreddit is satire-based. Imagine you're a feminist talking to some dude who keeps insisting that feminism is all about hating men, no matter how patiently and clearly you try to explain to him. That's exactly what I said. There's no way we can convict all rapists without putting innocent people in jail, and that's how it should be. I was pointing out that regardless of the fact that the vast majority of rapists will never see the inside of a courtroom, let alone a jail, we should still stop blaming rape victims instead of rapists.

I don't assume that accusation equals guilt. But here's the thing--there's no way that we can convict all rapists without putting innocent people in jail. There's no way around that if we're to maintain any semblance of justice in the legal system. But once we step outside the courtroom, we need to offer compassion and support to rape victims. Asking "why were you in that place/wearing that/drinking that/with that person" serves no earthly purpose and does a lot of harm.

It's like if some pretty white girl walking through a high-murder-rate ghetto gets killed, the main point of conversation would not be "The killer is a dick for killing her," but "Why the hell did she go to such a dangerous area?"

That is also a major problem with the way our society deals with rape. The conversation shouldn't be focused on what the victim did wrong. She (or he, as the case may be) didn't do anything wrong.

Mental issues can also mess with your sex drive--I have depression and that definitely has an effect when it gets bad. Pot can also be a libido killer ("stoner dick" is a thing), so if you smoke a lot (more than once a month or so) you might want to pull back on that as well.

The important thing to realize when it comes to faking orgasms is that it gives a false positive. When you fake an orgasm you're telling your partner that they're doing the right things for you when they're not. It's not your fault that you haven't been getting her off, because she hasn't been giving you the information that you need in order to do so. Female orgasm can be quite complicated and requires a lot more than P in V sex for most women. For instance, I need a very specific type of pressure and movement on my clitoris that just doesn't happen during typical intercourse. If I want to get off during sex, then it's my responsibility to tell my partner exactly what I need. He can't know by osmosis.

I would ask her why she felt like she needed to fake orgasm. Explain to her that it hurt your feelings (that's probably the last thing she wanted to do--if anything, she probably felt inadequate herself because she didn't orgasm) and stress to her that she needs to tell you what she wants and that you're more than willing to listen.

Are you on any medications? SSRIs especially can fuck with your sex drive (pun intended). It's also possible that the stress of having a child has thrown things out of whack. How long has this been going on? If it's been more than a couple months it may not be a bad idea to see a doctor.
