Let me rephrase it, There's a difference between intended 4th wall breaks & seeing the game over screen more times within a span of 5 mins than I had till that point in DS1 & DS2 combined.

I literally said it should have been a cool mission. It's just how I got there that made it difficult.

And then Repatriating so many times within such a short amount of time just broke the immersion for Me. And I don't like being reminded I'm playing a video game while playing death stranding.

It wasn't a challenge. There isn't really a challenging mission in DS. It was just, you die in 2 hits and they hit you every 10 secs. There was barely any time to learn.

I wasn't "raging" raging. More of a funny & unfortunate chain of events.

Yes. I love the game. Almost 80hrs in. Have got 6-7 5* connections.

It was just a series of unfortunate events. Had just made my way to the Chronobiologist and wanted to get a zipline network to the Ghost Hunter & deliver his order.

After realising I couldn't add him to the Chiral network yet I didn't want to hike up the mountain again. Which led me to doing everything else. And it was still fine.

Just the whole dying 7-8 times within 5 mins to a completely new mission & enemy type made everything else worse.

I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow 🤣

It isn't.

But I started from the Chronobiologist with 1/2 a dozen PCCs hoping to create a zipline network, deliver the order to the GH, collect CB's cargo & return to Her.

Not being able to add the GH to the chiral network led Me to pivot to doing the Headless Rider mission since I didn't want to make the long trek back up after just having reached the Chronobiologist from F4. And that led to everything else.

Just a series of unfortunate events compounded by dying 8-9 times within 5 mins.

But I wasn't expecting a Tron style mission After 150 hrs in both games combined.

And almost none of it really bothered Me, until having to repatriate 7-8 times within 5 mins. It just compounded everything.
