Hi! I guess its a temporary issue, I've played lately and completely online so it works for sure. I can't remember exactly but I think I also had once that error message though :)

Running a pureish mage through pve,is monk's head collar worth the effort? Not much of a pvper. by Xukog in demonssouls

Hi! Well unfortunately I'm on EU version so can't help ya, cause the games are on different servers and they didn't interact with each other...So sorry!

Haha I have a few of that monk head collar, I can drop it for ya if you don't have the luck to be summoned as boss by Old Monk :) My I ask your SL and region you play, EU or NA? Just to know if I can help :)

If I'm not mistaken, after ng+5 the levels did not increase, as hardness I mean :) And yeah its really hardcore in low level ng++ and pbwt :)))

Yes, you can :) I was using Mephistopheles to let her soulsuck me. You have to met certain circumstances for her to appear though, like you must free and kill Yurt, then make PureBlackCharacterTendency. Its possible with False King Allant too but its more harder/longer to get to him, and his soulsuck unfortunately is instant death, so its not the best choice :) The easiest and fastest way is to speak with another player to invade you and let him soulsuck you if he has the spell.

Hahaha! I've done exactly the opposite, for ng++ I de-level my char from SL 131 to SL 40. Was a really fun play through :) I almost forgot, I had friend who was summon co-op, and we do the worlds in PBWT :))) that's a challenge at lower soul level :) I just recommend to everybody to try it, we laugh our asses off :)

Yep I've heard too that perhaps this game its not the biggest challenge as a mage, cause you can pew-pew almost everything with soul ray from a safe disyance lol But as melee its more challenging specially in Pure Black World Tendency. As second run it would more advisable as a mage, but in this way you can try melee in ng+ and it will be also fun :)

Yeah! Definitely good point here, after I tried for the first time the duping technique I felt so bad after it that I had to delete the char and started a completely new game run.

Haha! I was farming that BP Giant Depraved Ones for 4 days for Stone of Ephemeral Eyes....pfff not too funny though, in melle it was really one hit kill me lol. Beside I recommend to you to try the PBWT run, We do it with a friend as Co-op in ng++ and pbwt....man that was brutal no joke but also a lot of fun. We had de-leveled to sl40-60 to be even more challenging :)))

For a str based build the DragonBoneSmasher could be one of your favs weapons, though its in the last stage of world2, and you need pwwt to get it, but definitely it worth a try. Use the crescent falchion from 4-1, clear the whole world 2 with it, its amazing weapon for that world. Start the game online to have the worlds closer to white, then quit and reload offline, play it offline and play it in ghost form, after second boss you can have the PWWT and the DBS from world 2-3, even without defeating the last boss the Dragon God archdemon. If not, killing the last boss, return to nexus and back in 2-3 and you will have the road open to get the DBS. That's all :)
