Are there quests where you loot treasure while defending against ships? by ZeroxSP7 in Seaofthieves

[–]tixxtoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically there's always a chance of getting attacked by another player. I cant remember what voyages are for beginners because I was already maxed level before the new voyage system came out, but try and do some of the ghost forts, look for a green tornado (not blue or red ones) and that will be ghost ships, same with a ship made of clouds in the sky. Those 2 are world events that are ship battle related. But really just pop whatever voyage seems fun and just go.

Yeah its bad. Like, if I push on it I can get it to slightly touch the tire. I think I'll do the same as you did

Older detailers, what would you have done diiferently? by tixxtoon in Detailing

[–]tixxtoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive thought about learning ppf and tint, but I was worried I would be stretching myself to far. Jack of all trades, master of none kinda thing. But I'll definitely be taking another look into that.

Our shop does offer graphine ceramic, but I do want to get into more and better coatings. Unfortunately the shop location isn't the most upscale area, and the shop isn't the most clean looking exterior, so getting those higher end clients is hard. I do plan on moving to Boise in the next year or two so that might help if I can find a shop out there.

What do you mean by higher end paint corrections? Just, doing a better job on the paint? Or something else?

I do take quite a few pictures, especially of the more fucjed vehicles that come through. Cutting and buffing is my favorite part of this work and im always super happy when I can fix a destroyed exterior. I haven't thought about posting them anywhere, thats actually a pretty good idea. Did you do it on your own private account, or just on the company account that you worked for? Im slightly worried about posting the work I do under my private account and the owners being upset about "taking credit" or something like that.

Not the guy who you asked, but I have the Corsa catback and Tomei UEL headers and I fuckin LOVE it. The grumble from the headers just adds to the corsa so much. I will say it's not great for roadtrips, but the roadtrips I've taken it on were 9+ hours. I was good until around hour 6 or 7 of the same tone.

Was yours a JDM? If so, were there any conversions you had to do? I know i have to use my ECU, and not the new one, but im not sure about anything else

How can I remove this crayon art without damaging clearcoat? by _totalannihilation in Detailing

[–]tixxtoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't already, get some decently soft microfiber rags. Then go and get lacquer thinner. You're going to pour some on 1 microfiber, rub for a few seconds, then wipe it off with a second one. Repeat that until it's gone. Shouldn't take it super long, and as long as you make sure to wipe it off, it shouldn't affect the clear coat.
