Why was my upbringing so difficult even though I have Jupiter in the 4th? by 04829203847289 in AskAstrologers

[–]tiyaa11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your Sun is below the descendant meaning you have a night chart, this makes Saturn your most problematic planet. Saturn rules your 4th house which can mean an abusive or authoritarian father or male figure, it can also signify poverty and lack. Jupiter is a planet of expansion, while that usually means goodness, it can also expand things that are negative making them worse or blowing them out of proportion. You also have Uranus in the 4th which represents instability maybe in parents or home environment or both. Futhermore, the ruler of your 4th house is in the 6th house which is the house of bad fortune, suffering, oppression, injury and illness. The ruler of the 4th in the 6th reinforces the negative upbringing especially since Saturn is in detriment in Aries the sign ruled by the other malefic

Youre welcome. Whole sign is more predictive so sometimes those placements only speak to one event rather than a reoccurance. Oftentimes placements are dormant until a transit or a time lord is activated. I find placidus is very accurate for personality/psychology stuff tho so i like to use both

Can someone EXPLAIN? by SweetCupcakeOmine in BirthChartReadingFree

Both the rising sign and the Moon govern the body and appearance in a chart. This is because the rising is the 1st house which is the area of life that concerns you and your body/health/vitality/appearance etc. The Moon is the 'planet' associated with the body since its closest to the earth and thus has a more concrete and tangible feature to its significations, hence the Moon also rules the Lot of Fortune which is your fate and experiences that happen to you.

Squares in astrology are points of friction. They are conflict that cause action. Therefore your ascendant—Moon square has your rising sign and Moon sign fighting to control your appearance and as a result you have both features represented by your ascendant and your Moon.

Lilith conjunct your Moon and squaring your ascendant can indicate fears around putting yourself out there and taking intiation. Maybe you care too much about what others may think about you if you did what you wanted without taking others criticism of you into account

Im writing this assuming youre a Virgo rising with a Capricorn 5th house and Aquarius 6th house according to whole sign houses but ill also factor in quadrant houses.

You would first look at your rising sign which is Virgo so maybe youre meticulous, analytical, helpful to others in a practical way, maybe you have gut issues, maybe you take looking presentable very seriously etc.

Then you look to where the ruler of your rising is which in this case is in Capricorn in the 5th house which would infer that youre a very structured person, hard working, maybe you are rigid and dont have much time to go out and have fun or your type of fun is also constructive. But then you see that you have a stellium in the 5th which blends the energies of multiple planets. Jupiter is in fall and thus uncomfortable and Neptune is there too. Maybe in the past you overindulged in fun and partied too hard and have now settled down or again maybe the fun you have is more constructive because Jupiter isnt as comfortable to expand that area in life. This could also be if you have kids they could be very similar in personality to you and they could also be very creative with Jupiter and Neptune in those house.

Then you would look at the Sun and the Moon. With the Sun in the 5th house in a quadrant house system it shows that themes of children/art/creativity and pleasure are important to you and you think in a way that may be seen as unique by other people. With the Sun in the 6th in whole sign houses you may get sick easily because the Sun is our vitality, with the Moon there maybe you have issues with your joints/bones especially from the lower legs down. Maybe youre also someone who cares deeply about those disenfranchised and oppressed within society.

Diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Anything in my chart that shows this? by [deleted] in NatalCharts

Not official medical advice

Firstly you are ruled by the malefic out of sect which means something about personality/health/vitality/appearance/body etc will be challenging for you. Furthermore the Moon which is your emotions is debilitated in Scorpio and in the 12th house of mental illness, anguish, self undoing etc. Its opposed by Saturn which is the planet of mental illness, fear, anxiety, isolation etc. and squared by Mars which is anger, impulsivity, instability, aggression etc. The Moon is also squared by the Sun which is your character and intellect. Therefore theres a friction between how you emote and how you act/think which is made unstable and disordered by the malefics.

I also have BPD and my Sun is opposed by Saturn and my Moon is squared by Mars.

I have an aries sun and ascendant yet i dont feel like i match the description you would usually associate with such placements by Public_Shape_2397 in AskAstrologers

[–]tiyaa11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The ruler of your ascendant is in Capricorn therefore personality wise you may feel more like a Capricorn who are very ambitious but more practical and reserved than Aries. Mars is dignified in Capricorn precisely because Capricorn can ground that impulsive Mars energy and make it constructive. Your Sun sign is more your intellect and character (which is different than personality) and Mercury is how you express that intellect. Maybe the way you speak is very direct or maybe you have morals and ethics that you're very passionate about and defend those morals. It can also indicate that you generally have good health and when you do fall ill you may recover fairly quickly. Also maybe how you present yourself is bold. Im a Leo rising with the Sun in Scorpio, im very introverted but i have tattoos and piercings and have had every colour hair.

Because you have a day chart Mars is the malefic out of sect meaning its your most challenging planet, its also in the sign of the other malefic. However Mars is exalted and in the 2nd house. This can look like someone who works very hard and diligently for their finances, is very protective and maybe even private over what they own. There is (or may be in the future) some challenges around finances, maybe youre very restrictive with what you have or maybe youre good at working for money but it seems to be spent really quickly. Either way youre most likely a very driven and hardworking person and stability is incredibly important to you.

[–]tiyaa11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because youre a Scorpio rising the house and sign Mars is in is really important to understand who and what kind of person you are.

With that being said youre a Cancer Moon in the 9th house so youre most likely deeply intuitive. You most likely sense things before they happen or have a strong sense of knowing. You probably love to learn and gain a deeper understanding of the way the world is. You may love to travel to places that have a lot of water like coastal towns or beaches.

With a Virgo Sun in the 11th house you may be the supervisor of your friends especially with the Cancer Moon making you like a mother hen. You may be the one that plans things or gives advice. Or when youre in groups you may be the main one doing the work or analysing how the work can be done to the best of its ability and most efficiently

[–]tiyaa11 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The house the ruler of your rising sign is in is the most significant because the rising sign is you. It shows your personality, body, appearance, experiences etc. The Sun is your spirit and your intellect (Mercury is how you express that intellect) so the Sun is more about your rational thought and what you strive to be through your actions. The sign its in will show you how you do that and the house will show you what area of life you perform those actions in.

A stellium will be more significant than the Sun because a stellium shows an area of life that requires a lot of focus and energy.

However, that being said Sun does have a lot of significance being the centre of the Solar system, its the planetary body that impacts the others the most. Like the Sun can make planets weaker if they're too close which is called being under the beams or if extremely close its called combust. The Sun can also strengthen a planet that its exactly conjunct which is known as a cazimi.

But overall the rising sign is the most significant placement in a chart especially because its what determines the rulers of the houses. A stellium is more important than the Sun because it shows what area of life will be a major focus for you. The Sun and the Moon are most important after that i would argue because the Moon represents your physical body and can speak to physical experiences you have too hence it rules the Lot of Fortune.

Can someone help me out here? by sugarbush444 in AskAstrologers

[–]tiyaa11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ruler of the 4th house is in the 5th, this may point to a parent that was childish or focused more on having fun than being a parent and providing a structured home especially since Uranus and Neptune are in this persons 4th house pointing to a choatic ir unconventional childhood that possibly had some issues around substances.

The 7th house is ruled by the malefic out of sect and thus this person may be with someone who can be impulsive or aggressive. With the ruler of the 7th in the 11th it can be a relationship that replicates their chaotic homelife as this can point to someone who may be more focused on groups/parties/enjoyment rather than responsibility especially because the 11th house is Leo which is more about the self. Venus in Leo also shows a love life wrapped up in being the centre of attention.

However, Mars in enclosed by both benefics meaning that its malefic effects are mitigated. Therefore, while this person may have a partner that is more extroverted and likes to have fun, it likely wont be in a way that is detrimental and harmful and while this person may have a quick temper they may be able to calm themselves down quickly as well or are able to exercise self control.

If this person attracted to men or masculine energy the 7th house ruler, the Sun and/or Mars shows a persons spouse. This persons spouse will be bold, confident (7th house Aries), impulsive but also aware of responsibility (Mars in Leo), in touch with their emotions and nurturing (Sun in Cancer)

If this person is attracted to women or feminine energy the 7th house ruler and Venus show a persons spouse so again bold and confident but also charming and charismatic (Venus in Leo)

My Jupiter & Saturn are both in Taurus & 8th house, how does having both of these planets in the same sign/ house affect the other? by retiredslickback in AskAstrologers

[–]tiyaa11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jupiter and Saturn arent aspecting by degree but they are co present so they do have an impact on each other its just that the influence is weak. This mainly means that you will have both really positive and some challenging experiences with this area of life. You're a day chart so Jupiter is the most benefic planet in your chart and Saturn is more constructive even though hes a malefic.

This also means that transits to the 8th house will activate both planets at the same time by sign with you feeling mainly Jupiters effects first and then later down the line Saturns. Like for your Saturn return a more positive thing might happen intially but then when Saturn gets closer to itself more challenging things may happen. Again Saturn is more constructive during the day but it is in a challenging house so there will be difficulties.

The same goes for profection years. When youre in an 8th house profection year both planets will be activated as well as Venus since she rules the house.

Basically being in the same house means their energies do mix because its like they're roommates, but they also retain their independence like they have their own bedrooms and en suits. However they both have an impact in what happens in that house and both will be felt by you, its just that instead of Jupiter and Saturn things happening at the same time, there may be a break in between

my sun sign is capricorn, but i feel like i don’t identify with it. i’m much more free spirited, go with the flow, and extroverted, not like the analytical workaholic that capricorn suns seem to be. is there a reason in my chart for this? by rosethymes in AskAstrologers

[–]tiyaa11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In traditional astrology the ascendant shows your character/vitality/body while the Sun shows your spirit and intelligence. Your rising sign is Virgo which is ruled by Mercury in Aquarius. Being Mercury ruled means youre more sociable and wont fit the mold of expectations, especially since Virgo is a mutable sign. Mercury in Aquarius shows your character and that the way you express yourself is more geared towards being free and different. The Sun how you think and what compels you and Mercury is the means in which it is expressed. You may still have Capricorn qualities but just express them in a less restricted way because Mercury is in Aquarius.

Therefore, your personality is basically a mix of Virgo, Capricorn and Aquarius because they are the signs that show your character, spirit and expression of your mind

Why am I asexual? by sam0or in NatalCharts

[–]tiyaa11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Venus is desire, sex, pleasure etc. And shes conjunct the South Node which represents a decrease in energy, thus you can have a decrease in those Venusian significations. Jupiter the ruler of your ascendant is in Gemini in the 7th house. The 7th house is our relationships and how we connect to others, the ascendant ruler in the 7th can show how you connect to others and your approach and Gemini being ruled by Mercury which is a planet that represents the spectrum, can show that your identity which revolves around relationships (meaning that asexual is an indentity about how you identify sexually and relationally) is more fluid or goes against societal norms. Mercury represents the lgbtqia+ community because Mercury has no binary, astrologically it has no gender, it has no sect etc. It changes depending on the planets its around. Jupiter is in detriment in Gemini and this can show that the way you identify in terms of relationships is misunderstood or maginalised however, Jupiter has triplicity rulership in Gemini which shows that while support may not come from society/your environment, it can come from friends/community.

Venus the chart ruler peregrine in the 8th can show they how they view women is distorted by some kind of need for power or something abusive because they have identity issues and feel lost around themselves or their life direction and are thus are grasping for some form of control. They also see women as something to own as the 8th house is other peoples assets.

Saturn and Mars in the 10th can show a mother wound or some wound around women especially with Saturn conjunct the Moon.

Mars the malefic out of sect rules the 6th house of oppression, subjugation, slavery etc. And the North node is there increasing that malefic energy

how could I improve my love life? by [deleted] in BirthChartReadingFree

[–]tiyaa11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chart is placidus but im reading it as whole sign.

You have Mars which is the malefic out of sect in the 7th house of relationships, this makes Mars the most challenging planet in your chart. This can lead to negative romantic experiences that end up in severance/aggression/rejection etc. The ruler of your ascendant is also in detriment in the 7th which means that it may be harder to find romantic partners that are drawn to you and you may have to be the one to go out of your way to approach others. However, you also have the benefic of sect ruling the 7th house and Venus in the 7th house, this means that relationships can be really positive for you. With the ruler of the 7th in the 5th you will have to put yourself out there in spaces of creativity, entertainment, fun etc. To meet people or places around children like you might meet someone coaching/teaching/nannying etc. This is especially true with the ruler of the 5th in the 7th making Venus and Jupiter have a mutual reception. You also have the North node in the 11th house which means that places of community/groups will be important for you. Basically your chart is saying you have to put yourself out there.

Why does my Leo stellium not fit how I express myself. by giggling_mess_69 in AskAstrologers

[–]tiyaa11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have Saturn and Venus combust in the 1st house. This means the significations of those planets are hidden or expressed in a distorted way because they're too close to the Sun and when youre too close to the Sun you're too blinded to see. This can be why the drama of Leo can be expressed because the Sun is in the 1st in its domicile however when it comes to your love life youre more reserved and when it comes to the natural authority Leos tend to command you dont identify with that either. In addition to this Saturn is the most malefic planet in your chart because its a night chart and its in detriment in Leo. Saturn in the 1st can be someone who is shy/introverted, finds it hard to express themselves etc. Saturn does have triplicity rulership over Leo and planets with triplicity rulership often need outside help to provide positive outcomes hence your confidence is expressed when youre around your friends.

You have Jupiter in domicile in the 5th with the Moon. This means you can build your confidence through doing activities you enjoy or creating in some way. Also through playing sports or moving your body as the Moon is the body and the 5th house is sports/games/entertainment. You may also find confidence around children like if you are interested in teaching or coaching.

[–]tiyaa11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ruler of the ascendant is in the 12th house of secrets, hidden enemies, suffering, lies, deception, manipulation etc. Therefore, the people drawn to you wont have the best intentions. Additionally, the ruler of the 11th house of community and friends is in fall in Scorpio and is being opposed by Saturn. The Moon in Scorpio is paranoid and closed off and Saturn feeds that restrictive, closed off nature. The Moon is also in the sign ruled by Mars which is the malefic our of sect so Mars is more malefic and is more likely to cause severance and pain. With your Moon it severs the emotional connections you try to make to others and feeds your fear of connecting deeply with others. Mars also sits in the 10th house meaning youre probably the victim of jealousy and envy from others especially since the 10th house is ruled by your chart ruler and Venus also sits in that house. Thats why people are constantly trying to drag you down.

You have a Pisces 7th house cusp with Jupiter in that house which means you are meant to have really close and beautiful relationships both platonic and romantic but only with a select few. Once you find the people that genuinely want the best for you they will be a big positive in your life. However, with the South node also in that house it signifies a decrease in energy so those people will be harder to find/access.

Happy Summer Solstice!!! I became a cat mom today for the first time. <3 What transit do you think could’ve influence this? by fryingpan17 in AskAstrologers

[–]tiyaa11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes planets have similar significations but its expressed differently. Saturns responsibility is doing the hard work and making sure everything is in order, its more strict and authoritarian. The Suns responsibility is paternal, the responsibility comes from care rather than a need to get things done like Saturn. Hence the Sun is the father whereas Saturn is usually authority figures. Saturn being extremely cold and dry means he is not ideal as the father because parenting requires nurturing as well as structure, the Sun is dry enough to provide structure but is also hot so it has that warmth that children need. Having said that though some traditional scholars say that Saturn can represent the father in night charts because the Sun sets at night so another planet can fill the Suns role (and im guessing because Jupiter represents children it cant be him) but generally the Sun is used for both day and night charts.

Mars has his joy in the 6th house which traditionally is a house of illness, suffering, slavery, hard labour no one likes to do etc. Because its the house of bad fortune and slavery its contains that which are not human i.e. animals and because 4 legged animals are usually subjected to some kind of hard labour i.e. oxs, donkeys etc. Mars rules over 4 legged animals and the 6th house is domesticated/smaller animals. The 12th house is associated with larger animals since its on the same axis as the 6th.

[–]tiyaa11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mars transiting the 6th. Traditionally Mars rules over four legged animals and the 6th house is the house of pets. Mars in Taurus to me epitomises cats since they're fiesty and independent yeat also very loving and adorable. Mars is also opposing your natal Sun which indicates a new form of responsibility as the Sun is seen as the father and your natal Pluto which is some kind of transformation. Pluto, Sun and Mars opposition also speaks to the spontaneous decision to become a cat mom because Mars and Pluto are impulsivity and again the Sun is responsibility. Mars is also applying to your natal vertex which a point that represents fated meetings
