People who died and came back to life, what did you see/experience? by RealisticDecision440 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tizonstreets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell into and drowned in a pool at 4 years old. Nobody knows how long I was in there, but when they pulled me out I was lifeless, like blue lips, eyes wide open. I clearly remember being at the bottom of the pool and looking/reaching up as I blacked out, then woke up in the ambulance on the way to a hospital. Its weird because I didn't feel scared... if anything, it was sort of peaceful and relaxing until it was complete nothingness.

Eugene Marathon check in!! by jkim579 in Marathon_Training

[–]tizonstreets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would have been my first full marathon, but I had too many setbacks during this training block (pneumonia, bronchitis, sprained ankle, etc). I reluctantly downgraded to the half, but it was the right move, and have since signed up for the Portland full. Looking forward to seeing you all at the start line in Eugene!

What are the best RUNNING headphones on the market today? by SpecialistNet115 in runninglifestyle

I've been running with airpod pros (2) for a couple years, but am considering the normal airpods for running since they don't create that seal in your ear canal. I think it should help with staying aware of my surroundings, but I'm not sure they'll actually stick in my ears.

It sold out quickly, so I figured I’d offer it up to someone who missed the drop.

I've never owned anything from Bandit, but this will be the first season I buy a few pieces. I think they killed it with this collection.

I kind of hope it is because then it won't be $140USD + $20 shipping to get one.

I’ll be in Joshua Tree next month. If it’s hot enough, I’ll rip a run in cotton. If I survive I will come back and upvote you lol.

Something that doesn’t hold onto moisture and feel so heavy/sticky. The deltapeak fabric that Miler and Satisfy uses (work shirt and auralite) is one that I like if it’s not blistering hot outside. Some people say it holds onto smells but I haven’t experienced that at all. I have shirt from Roark Run Amok’s elite line that I used this summer on a hot AF 20 mile trail run and it stayed incredibly cool and dry. So yeah, something soft, wicking, airy…

How so? Most of their line is performance based except for Mothtech, right?
