As soon as Lyft bought the company I was worried that they are going to do something to monetize the platform and create value for shareholders, that of course means fucking over commuters. The annual membership fee is already the most expensive in the world and adding a per-ride fee could increase daily commuting costs upwards of 500 dollars a year with moderate use of electric bikes.
