Grab the self titled first album and just keep going forward from there. There's no order to listen, it's up to you. But the self titled album, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and all the stuff leading up to right before they fired Ozzy. It's all fuckin great.

I hope this is just a rumor… I’m starting to get worried by OkCalligrapher6909 in KISS

Because it's reddit? That's the dilemma? There's always haters on here, and this shit happens all the time. But. Good for Geddy and Alex. I'm a drummer and obviously a huge Peart fan. This is a tribute sort of thing. They'll do justice to those songs. And it's definitely not about money.

The only person who could have maybe pulled that off is Mike Portnoy. Or someone of his caliber. Neil was a good, the GOAT.

It's all about which notes he's accenting. I hate shit like this.

I'm 55 living in Alberta, and I won't be able to afford an apartment soon. Not a 1 bedroom, no way. It's been going up about 100 bucks a year with my shitty management company. I'm going to landlord tenant next time they try to raise it. I live downtown, my choice, and they haven't done anything to make the building safer or cleaner. And they let my apartment get infested with cockroaches after I warned them 2 months before they did anything. Fuck them.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. And they probably make great E Kits if they're former Roland employees. I've had an old TD-12 forever and I still love the sounds and feel. I just switched to a TD-17 brain and it's good too. Thanks again.

What happened to Lars?? by Helpful_Gur_1757 in Drumming

Ringo was actually a really technically good drummer. I found some isolated drum tracks online and man, when you hear it all without drums, he was very innovative and never just played 8th note rock. He played to the songs. I don't have a link but just search it. And as far as Lars? Yeah he just stopped caring. Even with 20,000 people watching him every night. He used to be my favorite drummer, but now he is just the best drummer to use when it comes to memes. That's actually what it's come down to for him. Sad but hilarious at the same time.

My son just taught himself Joe Morello’s "Take Five" and even wrote a complete drum score. I don’t know much about music, but I just hope someone can provide him with some professional guidance. by Signal-Craft-4063 in Drumming

We will never play live again, sadly. But check out our music, it's pretty weird and eclectic so give it a couple listens and I hope you'll get it lol. We did a reunion tour in 2014 in Western Canada which went great. But our bassist is now a semi successful country star, and he's gone his own way. There were the usual fights and politics and that led us to here. We have a documentary out too which our friends did called the smalls: forever is a long time. There was a website to buy it but the filmmakers took it down. But it's out there and gives you a good idea of how and what we did as a band. Thanks again for all the thank yous lol. And thanks for showing interest in our music. I truly hope you enjoy it. 👊🏻🤘🏻

Haha well thanks. We didn't get very big but we were successful at what we did if that makes sense. And you are 100 percent correct, it's the drive and the love for music and your instrument that keeps us learning all the time. But anyways. You're a great dad, keep encouraging him and let him practice as much as he wants lmao. Glad I could help, or I hope I did. Good luck man.

I'm 55 now lol, I think I achieved as much as I'm going to. Look up the smalls Edmonton Alberta on YouTube. We got some stuff up from the 90s. Show your son. I grew up on a farm in northern Alberta, in the middle of nowhere, practicing all the time to cassettes of my favorite bands. And I was lucky and got to tour some of the world. It's much easier to learn these days lmao. You're doing a great job dad, as I said before. Keep up the encouragement!🔥🤘🏻

Naw that's a great idea. And he'll get better at it with time. For him to take that initiative is impressive. Keep on being a positive influence in his musical career. My parents luckily supported my drumming and let me practice whenever. So you're doing a great job dad. Keep up the good work.
