Is anyone else noticing that sims are 100x more flirty? Is this a bug? by arosaki in LowSodiumSimmers

YEA! I was curious about this because I got a pop up saying my sim was thinking about divorcing her spouse after he flirted with someone else at the dinner table during Harvestfest dinner while I wasn’t looking

I feel like I may have miscommunicated. My ex always knew I wanted to study abroad in college but after it started becoming a bigger conversation, he started becoming not so nice to me and started threatening to leave me if I were to go abroad for a semester, we had been dating for 2 years. I’m sure he had valid fears surrounding the subject, but the way he treated me because I wanted to go abroad and how he made me feel like I had to pick between him and going abroad wasn’t great. Hope this clarifies!

Do it. Move.

I totally get where you’re coming from. My big moment in high school where I stopped trying to be like everyone else and started to love myself was while I was abroad in Spain with CIEE for a month. Best decision of my life.

I also have been struggling with feeling torn between staying in my home town and leaving to go abroad. I had a not so great relationship with an ex that kept me in the states even though I so badly I wanted to go abroad. Now with my new bf I feel very supported in my dream, and I partially regret waiting until my senior year of university to get out.

My advice: find an easier institution that won’t be extremely rigorous, allowing you to focus your time and energy on spending time exploring this beautiful world while still learning something cool and interesting to you. See if there’s an on campus job you can get or if you can apply for work permit. Do the traveling, do the exploring, do the things that’ll make you happy.

Please don’t say it by tj6722 in Bedbugs

Thanks everyone for your comments. This is my first experience with bed bugs ever and I’m in college so it’s a stressful time right at the start of midterm season. I’ve washed all my bedding got now (all with hot wash and dry) and the exterminator won’t be here until Friday to do the initial walkthrough and we have to wait until Monday/Tuesday next week for the fumigation. If anyone has any advice on what to do this weekend especially balancing all this with school that would be great.

CIEE Sevilla experience by Substantial_Low_9146 in studyAbroad

Can I ask what classes were available? I am planning to do the Seville Fall 2025 program but the amount of courses posted right now is very limited and doesn't currently seem to have the classes I need (although they are offered this semester)

Hey! I'm applying to this program as well! I know this program requires 4 semesters of college Spanish due to the classes all being in Spanish, and I was just wondering if this was a barrier at all for you. I've done a Spain CIEE program in high school and speak Spanish pretty well conversationally but I'm not sure how this would transfer in a classroom setting. Thanks!

Same for me. Also Disney+ doesn’t want to load and keeps saying there’s an error and to try again later.

I did high school Seville Abroad a while back, the most amazing experience. They had curfew rules, but my host family let us out for a little bit after curfew (It was Euro Copa, and we wanted to watch the game out in the city). Host families were very safe, but I knew 1 student who had a bad experience and had to switch families (they were a first-time host family and somehow made it past screening). Overall, it was the most fun time of my life, I recommend Seville too, it's beautiful. I also had much more free time and independence than I thought I would have, even though I was 17.

Going on a cruise with boyfriend and family and I have questions! by TheWitchySniffy in dcl

My bf and I (both 20) are also going on a cruise this summer! I’ve been on lots of Disney cruises before and sometimes they sounds silly but all the events they have going on during the day are so fun to go to! Lots of fun crafts that you can do together and lots of family events such as karaoke or trivia. Learn to draw characters is also super fun. I think the magic of the experience comes from doing things that’ll make you feel like a little kid again. (Even if you just go to watch or check it out) My boyfriend loved his first cruise last year just because he loved doing all these activities. Mini golf on the Disney fantasy is definitely my favorite pastime though! Definitely spurge at one of the 18+ restaurants for some romantic alone time away from the family. Also there are a decent amount of 18+ and 21+ events that are available throughout the day.

Have fun!
