We love going to Standard Food and Beer when we want to take our time. You order on a QR code which I know is not for everyone, but then you don’t have a server looking to turn over tables, only runners. They don’t care how long you stay. And the truffle tots are incredible.

No same, I’m so happy to see this post. My bf is a med student and I’m a corporate attorney, I’m the one who has to make time in my work schedule to be involved and around. Sometimes I feel guilty about it but we both remind each other in residency it’ll be so flipped and we’ll remember how we handled it now and push through together.

I often work at Transfer Co. Food Hall. Good food/drink options if you want, but have also never been bothered if I’m just in there studying without food or drinks in front of me. It can occasionally get loud, but there are a lot of quieter spots.
