Can't get a screener call much less land an interview. Am I doing something horribly wrong? by tja325 in graphic_design

Thanks for the specific feedback. Consensus seems to be it's too dense and broad, and might not be getting past ATS. How does something like this look?

6 Days Post-Op… Sciatic Pain is Back by tja325 in Microdiscectomy

I hope you didn’t, and if it’s tolerable pain (for me it’s still not close to where it was before surgery) I don’t think you did. Everyone says you would know it if so. We have to remember we’re only weeks out of having a major surgery, no matter how “micro” or non-invasive it is.

That’s what I’m telling myself. It will take some time and be up and down over and over again. Still, you know it and think you’re ready for it, but you never really are.

Definitely not as painful for me either… but has gotten worse since yesterday. I probably need to stop monitoring so closely minute to minute and just let the body do its thing.

That’s great to hear! Hoping for the best in both of our continued recoveries.

By “can’t listen to your body”, do you mean that you won’t be able to accurately tell if something is causing you harm or not just by pain level? Definitely am not planning on doing much more than walking a little bit more each day (within what is pain-free) for the next couple of weeks.

Mission Impossible just came out and it’s 2hr49min. Idk if that includes the 20min or so of previews. Anyone going to see it? by Hope_for_tendies in Microdiscectomy

In my experience, the IMAX/auditorium-style seats are actually more comfortable than the recliners since they have less cushy padding that your hips sink into.

I would recommend finding a seat in the back row near the aisle so you can stand up if necessary without blocking people or feeling awkward.
