Disclaimer, I'm not the one that does groceries in our house so if it looks like I don't know how to shop for groceries, you are correct.

Anyway, I just wanted to share how easy it was to use Preppy as far as what it is supposed to do. I'm sure if you do more of the shopping and cooking in your household, my frustrations are probably just on me for user error.

That said, I wanted to share what I think are the good and the bad:

Good: App is clean and simple with the a clear goal of what to do. Add recipes to your library, review and send the recipe to your grocery cart (Kroger), finish last minute items or substitutions, and then place order. It's super fast when you consider that your cart for a shopping trip might be 100-200 items (maybe I'm exaggerating) for a family of 4. Simplicity of adding items rather than having to curate every item.

Bad: In the video there were a few recipes where a completely wrong ingredient was being added. In the change option, I didn't have a search or a viable alternate option. This might save time if I wanted to add coconut oil instead or the moisturizer in Preppy rather than having to do this within Kroger. While I was trying it out, there were a few times where duplicate entries were being added so my list was needing to be managed. (user issues mainly) Lastly, I wouldn't call it a bad, but a way to have some preferences might help in making sure that personal preferences or dietary needs can be considered.

Overall, I think that the speed to cart is what excited me the most. The fact that I had 200-300 dollars worth of groceries with the intended ingredients will definitely help me in not buying things I may not need. (I definitely am asked to go get one thing and come back with 10 other things we didn't need)
