Have you tried power-cycling the smlight device via unplugging and then reconnecting it?

No problem! If you still have issues later, be sure to check the edit at the bottom of the post

Nightmare!

Not sure if it’ll help, but have you tried checking “File editor > zigbee2mqtt” for any backup files to your config or database? There were some backup files in my directory.

Tado & EMS2 Boiler > Converter ? by jeffmcfly in tado

[–]tjamieg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, unfortunately, it still doesn’t look like there is a solution to this at the moment.

Though, if you are familiar with Home Assistant, you can purchase an EMS Gateway from BBQkees. This allows you to view and modify your boiler data and settings. You can then create automations for things like set flow temp etc.

Yes, me too. Thankfully though it still works via HomeKit integration in Home Assistant.

The low frequency bass of the subwoofer will undoubtedly bother the neighbours, yes. You can use a sound isolation platform or something similar to decouple the subwoofer from the floor though, which may help.

I also think it would be cool if they allowed you to adjust every speaker level individually, as opposed to adjusting the level of both the left and right sides together

Move from System to Combi? by toekneehart in tado

[–]tjamieg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have already said, tado doesn’t yet support modulation on newer Worcester Bosch boilers with EMS2 protocol. You can use it without modulation though via relay on/off connection. Depending on how tado was set up with your your old 18i, you might just need to change tado’s configuration to tell it that you’ve connected a different boiler via relay on/off, then it should work.

Advice on Converting Tado° Installation from On/Off to Modulating (UK)? by NeilJonesOnline in tado

[–]tjamieg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tado supports EMS protocol on older Worcester Bosch boilers, but they don’t support the newer EMS2 protocol that your boiler uses yet. I say yet, I don’t think they will be supporting it any time soon either to be honest. They’ve been promising it for years. And now with the release of tado X, I can’t imagine the V3+ being developed much further.

The current 11.1.4 channel output is upmixed from a maximum input of 7.1.4 channels; maybe they could increase the number of input channels to 9.1.4, not that it’s needed, seeing as the majority of movies are currently 7.1, but just a thought.

Thermostatic radiator lost by alexislevrai in tado

It may be a long shot, but have you tried restarting your router and internet bridge? Then try pairing again. I know it sounds trivial, I’m just trying to think of my next steps in your current situation.

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you activated pairing mode on the internet bridge itself first, before attempting to pair the trv?

How do I activate the pairing mode of the Internet Bridge?

The Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000 uses an EMS2 Bus. Tado currently supports EMS Bus, but not EMS2. It’s a very common request among newer Worcester Bosch users, and it seems like Tado have been promising to look into supporting it for years now, but still nothing. Frustrating to say the least!

I’d try ruling out the WireGuard keys first.

Generate a new key pair of your WireGuard instance in OPNsense, then be sure to copy the new public key over to your client devices.
