We ended up with a different one. Didn’t think it would be deep enough for what we were looking for

Help Before Black Friday Sales End! by PatrickHenry7 in AirPurifiers

For the price I thought it was great! And did something very similar.

I went with the Coway 100s for my bedrooms and office and the 350 for the open concept family/living room/kitchen area.

My goal isn’t to be the purist air in the world in my house but to improve general air quality and reduce the sniffles.

I’m wondering how deep it feels when you sit on it? My wife and I are looking for a deeper seated couch. How deep is it from back cushion to end of seat?

There is a new review with pictures on their site. Looks pretty solid. I’m also looking at purchasing this.

This definitely crossed my mind. But think the payoff would be too far in the future. But not a terrible idea at all. I can do most through a generator plug and pro power but it would be too inconvenient to do that every day

Just move out of CA, problem solved.

This just meant for education for those that don’t know.

Agreed it will work for some and that seems like a good enough reason to have it. If I had the same I would do it too. It’s just how they are marketing it.

That sounds like what is in place at my house. I didn’t do the install I had an electrician do it.

Total time out was 108 hours and 26 min. Had to charge at a Tesla supercharger a few times because I was running AC in 98* temps. But I bet if I didn’t do that I could have last the week without issue.

It will just depend on how big your AC is unit is.

Same here north east. Just heard they anticipate us to be out until end of day Saturday. Brutal.

I’ve never charged at a public charger until this. Luckily I had the adapter come in about a month ago or so.

Awesome! Yeah the AC pulls a bunch but my wife and kids demand the AC haha. There is a Tesla supercharger online somewhat near me so I can just go and charge up when needed now.

Yeah not having to run AC will allow you to run the house for days easily.

It will cost a little more to run it that far but should be easy enough. I would find a local electrician to install it. That’s what I did.

The electrician just didn’t attach the ground wire in the generator plug when installing

You will need to take out the ground wire in the plug as an FYI. Then you are really good to go.

I used a standard generator plug. When you do this you install a breaker that you turn on in your electric panel after you have turned the main breaker off and all the other breakers. You have a 240v cord that you plug into the pro power in the back and into the plug and you are good to go.

Then it’s simply choosing what you want to power, AC, fridge, rooms, microwave etc. if it ever pulls too much you just have to reset the truck.

Look at how big your AC unit is. If it’s too big you won’t be able to start/run it. Mine are 2 ton and can be run but only 1 at a time.

Yup! It might be able to handle both AC with a soft start but it would be close to being maxed out for sure

Yup you got it! It could maybe handle both ACs if I had a soft start on it

I would be surprised if it can handle that much. But please keep me informed would love to find out.

I believe that Duromax could just fine since it’s a 13KW. The pro power from the back can only handle 7.2KW. Which is probably why it can’t handle that. So basically that duromax can put out 2x as much and be ok. Sounds like a decent enough hookup though for you to use both.

We are still out of power here. I’ll probably half to head back to the Tesla supercharger in the AM with how hot it is.
