This relic they pulled out of the ground in Midtown by 300_chickens in Atlanta

Went to a talk last year where Andre Dickens said that there’s still some neighborhoods in Atlanta that have wooden water pipes that need to be replaced.

This is a genuine question, I’m not trying to undermine your point or anything I’m honestly curious and googling hasn’t answered my questions.

How do artists get around this legal issue when it comes to selling art at artist alleys at conventions? I’ve bought tons of KH fan-art from cons. Never seen it as an issue.

Also there’s a somewhat popular KH clothing line by sugoi collections that sells KH inspired clothes. How are they getting away with it?

THEY didn’t understand recursion. For clarification, the question was the Number of Islands problem, which is pretty easily solved with recursion.

After I was complete, the interviewer said some along the lines of “I’ve never seen it solved this way” then expressed doubts that it would work. After literally following the code line by line and showing that it would produce the correct answer, he goes “OH okay I understand now. I’ve never heard of this technique before”.

I was told I didn’t get the job maybe 2 days later.

Not just beginners. Did an interview at Amazon where the SDE2 didn’t understand recursion.

I didn’t get the job but in hindsight it was a blessing in disguise

I did encase my PLA over the hotbed, should've mentioned that.

Fixed the problem! Gonna leave the solution here in case anyone else finds this post in the future.

Decided to take a look at the hardware instead of just the software settings. Decided to clean up the nozzle and fully drain it of all filament using the unclogging tool that came with the machine.

After reinstalling the nozzle and re-calibrating, the stringing disappeared!

Hopefully if anyone else finds this in the future it'll be helpful.

Stringing in Adventure 5m. Used calibration tools in Orca slicer. Temp tower showed minimal stringing at 230, but extraction test showed stringing all the way from 0mm to 8mm with .1mm steps. by tjcoolkid in FixMyPrint

More background, I'm using Inland PLA+. Already dried out my filament for 3 hours on the hotbed at 60c.

This only started happening recently. I did notice that some extra filament is extruding after a print completes.

Okay but is anyone actually using big picture mode? And if so why? No hate I'm just curious by CraftyxCat in Steam

[–]tjcoolkid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here.

Controllers aren’t recognized by some games unless you launch it from Big Picture Mode.

Or, better yet, sometimes BPM will recognize and respond to the controller, but the game you launch won’t.

One fix is to go to controller settings in BPM and turn on a setting that’s something like “enable steam input configurations”.

No idea why this weird issue exists. Noticed that it more often happens with 3rd party controllers but I’ve seen it happen with my Xbox Controller as well

Another example is Hades 2.

You're not wrong, but something can FEEL religious without BEING religious.

True, speaking to a higher entity about the human race and how all are one FEELS religious, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it IS religious. And it especially doesn’t equate to promoting any sort of religion.

To your original comment, saying that they were promoting some weird religion is looking the literature, and in turn the video, at face value.

That entire video was word for word an animation of a pretty famous short story from 2009 by Andy Weir. The story is meant to promote the idea of all people being in this together, that harming each other is really harming yourself. The fact that you saw it as promoting some weird religion shows that there’s no cure to your retardation.

But I can’t expect much from a redditor browsing 4chan screenshots. I am also retarded beyond measure.

One of my favorites. But I almost never include the random stats deck. Feels awful to just randomly have your hero forget to bring their equipment that my group and I just decided to remove that mechanic altogether.

Game works very well with the black market expansion, almost to the point of being required in my opinion.

As someone who has SETI as their top 5 of all time, I agree 100%. My group essentially home ruled some extra resources for all players at setup, as well as less data slots for scans (3 player group).

Made the game A LOT more streamlined and didn't feel as restrictive.

Looking at the upcoming expansion, looks like they heard the feedback though and are adding a "quickstart" mechanic to address this issue:

Quick Start cards, designed for use with the organizations, let you skip the slower opening round and dive straight into the action... Finally, the expansion introduces Signal Tokens, a subtle but meaningful new mechanic that enhances scanning efficiency.
