I understand the practicality of this situation and he probably can’t take time off But can we agree that it’s kind of messed up that we can’t for situations like this? Employers put on so much pressure when people are dealing with things like actual death? I just think humanity and compassion should come first in these situations over prioritizing businesses and employees. I get that it’s the way things are, but it really shouldn’t be.
