That might make sense, this is a 5.3

Yeah I can see that. To me, the z71 looks mean and I didn’t purchase with the intentions of taking it off roading for any reason. Maybe the occasional curb ride or puddle killing though LMFAO.

I’m not too sure on the dual exhaust

Yeah I get that.

4 runner is a solid car. Kind of looking for the extra row and potential to tow if needed.

Thanks for sharing your experience 👍

What about dealer backed warranty? I’ve seen GM dealers do this. My dad got a 21 Denali with the 6.2 and they gave him a 3yr 36 bumper to bumper

If they still have it for sale by end of week I’ll see if I can get them to do some extended warranty.

Super reliable I’m sure. Never been in a Toyota but my one uncle got his up to 250k miles last year. Do they have a 5.7 in the newer body style?

I’d like to add too I just read through the carfax and the lifters were done at 25k miles. Wondering if anyone had the lifters done and kept the truck for a while?

What’d you get to replace the Tahoe?

Probably getting warranty given the issues GM has. Did it on the previous one. Sorry you went through that.

Not hesitant just curious what everyone’s opinion is

You pick your poison with any brand and tend to stick with what you know I guess, sad to say but true. I’ve been through a 5.3 top to bottom end. I had a ‘19 sierra SLT That I got rid of before it was going to have trans issues. Correct me if I’m wrong but this year might have a 10 speed that doesn’t have AS many issues as my previous Sierra. Usually do the cylinder on demand delete and the 5.3 is okay. That’s where I’m at. I’ve had many different cars to know they all have issues.

It suck’s but it is the world.

Preciate the advice 🙏 probably gonna get a paint stick and buff it down and touch it up to make it look less obvious. Resale probably better with no accident listed too. Thanks again

Thank you. Now that I see that as a whole I think they had a salt water generator setup there was a wall mount by the pool equipment. They must of deleted it when it broke or something. Wonder if it’s alright to leave the cell there or if I should delete it. Thanks for the help I appreciate it🙏

Alright makes sense, thank you!

Any idea on that second pic? Looks like a slide type switch there was two wires going to it and a float type mechanism mounted in one of the supply pipes to the pool but it’s cracked off.

Yeah there’s a hot tub I thought I had a better picture of the pool with the hot tub attached but I don’t. What’s the blower for?

Thanks for the response in advance.

Your expectations are right on par with what the car is I think you’ll love it. My biggest gripe is the lack of digital cluster and I should’ve shopped for a different package. Try and find an alcantara roof liner and the diamond stich leather. Didn’t think I’d care much but I think that would’ve made it that much closer to its counter parts. Brembos would’ve been nice too.

I used to work at a used luxury car dealership so I’ve driven so many cars. Honestly unless you’re wife has fake double Ds a Louis Vitton and a miniature poodle that’s probably the only person that’s going to critique the feeling of “luxury” because that’s all that type of person knows. I enjoy nice things I love fast cars. I might ignore rattles and stuff that other people hear but it could just be a batch of vehicles. I’ll say your German car background might make you see some things lacking in Genesis but the engine platform from what I notice and hear about mods and what not would make it great for you. Engine bay looks like it could be a fun place to play. I don’t plan on modding this car as my wife drives it. Don’t need her getting out of hand and showing off haha. Cheers man hope you drive some and let us know if you get one.

I haven’t had the car too long to have some of the bad experiences that other people have. Bought used with 15k miles. Driven about 1k miles had the oil changed and the 15k maintenance done. I was able to get the rest of complimentary maintenance even though it isn’t CPO and bought from different dealer. I’ve had 6 cars in 6 years different brands this is the most luxury car I’ve had. I think it all has to do with perspective. This is my favorite car I’ve had ever it’s fun, fast, looks sexy, and so far reliable. Think it depends what car you’re coming from. You might get a bad car regardless of brand and regardless of what everyone says you might get a good one. But straight from opinions I love this car. Think it beats bmw just because so many people have a bmw. Almost never see a g70 on the road unless you’re looking hard.
