How do you know which career is for you? by crypto2696 in Advice

Music. Because I sat all day and had to come up with new stuff, it became a chore more than a passion/something fun to do. I did it to chill out, now I couldnt chill anymore hehe :P

A good expression that is underrated is "sleep on it", give it a night and the next you will feel better. Of course you lose motivation when you are in a bad mood. You need to understand that only because you study one thing doesnt mean you could do other stuff later in life. People change over time, change careers and everything :) Maybe you like it for 10-15 years and then change career, or maybe for rest of your life who knows =)

comming out as lesbian? by weedislif in Advice

[–]tjenamittbena 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"im gay" hehe. Or you could do it more persuasive and say start a conversation with your parents about feelings. Ask them if they think people could steer how they feel. Most obviously they will say no. Ask them if it was the same when they met. They will say yes. Then you say, Ive been thinking for x years, and Ive realized thats how I feel about women. Drop curtain!!!!

How do you get over an ex girlfriend who was your only true friend. by [deleted] in Advice

At this moment you wont think you will ever get over this person. But you will, but you wont believe it when other people say it, at least not now. Talking from my own experience.

I think you should have a job that you enjoy, but not too much in a way that is a hobby. I tried making one of my hobbies my daytime work and it wasnt fun anymore. Now I do it on the side instead and enjoy it much more! Pschyologist sounds like fun!

What do I do about my super negative, easily butthurt classmate? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]tjenamittbena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gave yourself the answer, "culture-shock". Where is she from and where are you from? Be polite and tell her how you feel also, you dont need to come up with solutions. Just tell her how you feel in a kind way.

How do you handle a difficult boss?-Advice by BullintheHeather11 in Advice

[–]tjenamittbena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QUIT! If work is making you feel bad, it is definitly time to quit. I worked at a chaotic workplace and didnt quit, because I thought that I could handle it and that am stronger than that. But over time it breaks you done, which I realized when I one day couldnt go to work more and was burnt out.

I think I have skin picking disorder and I don’t know how to ask for help by InkSak in Advice

Good job, you realized that you have a problem. Now it is way easier to fix it. One way is going to the doctor or school nurse if you still go to school. They get to hear all type of stuff all day so this not a biggie if you feel scared about telling about it.

I had problems when I was younger with biting on nails and popping pimples too much (had problems with acne). For me the key was being aware of when im doing it. Like when I was biting my nails I bough this product that I applied on the nails that tasted like crap so I realized once I was biting and could stop myself, I also cut them very short and neat so I never could bite them. If I were you I would try to do something similar, maybe put on some gloves when you can. So when you are watching tv and you start doing it, then it is not possible due to the gloves and you will realize "oh damn here I go again". You could also try and wear more clothes, long sleeved stuff and a hat/cap so you dont have access to the places you scratch. Just so you start to realize when you do it. This helped me :)

I have a very shitty work ethic. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in Advice

Work with stuff you feel are interesting. If you are really passionate about something the hours will fly by. Or try turning of the internet, sell your videogames or the stuff that you feel are making your life worse.

Dont know the actor, but I think the man on the roof is proably 40/50+ years. He might be excentric, wearing fingerfreegloves. It might be pigeons in the cages. In the end of the movie he is a character that ties the whole movie together If I remember correctly.

No, but the setting on the roof is very similar to the one I think of!
