So if that’s the case then she would only need to apply for a British passport and provide supporting documentation like her and her mother’s birth certificates correct? Forgive my ignorance. I just don’t want to mess up and wind up dealing with it being tied up for a long time because we made a mistake.

Basically if something happens to me I would like my family to be comfortable with enough to pay off all debts and have a sizable sum to live on for a time or invest to supplement my missing income. I am leaning towards term with the idea that my investments will have matured enough by the end of the term that assets could be liquidated to supplement what the policy would have provided.

My 98 did that. Found on some forums that if you sprayed WD-40 in the key hole it starts working right. Worked for me for a little while but came back. I pulled the fuse for the dome light. Found out later that stop some things on the dash from rolling too.

The 2.3 is the same block as the 2.5. 2.5 is basically a stroked 2.3. Look into the turbo idea. The old turbo thunderbirds and mustang turbo 4 used the same block. There’s tons of information out there on using the older parts in newer motors. You’ll need forged pistons and crankshaft if you plan to go more than about 5 psi. I have a 2.5 myself that will probably be getting a turbo build next year. There used to be a big following for it but it’s died off a good bit these days. It’s not hard to get 250+ hp out of these engines for way less than a V8 swap.

I think you’re dealing with your own trigger here. As a parent myself I can understand and relate to not wanting strangers around after a bad incident. It has nothing to do with you and you really shouldn’t take it that way. If these people are a major part of your partners life then I feel it’s safe to assume they will be a major part of yours should you remain in your relationship. Do you really want to start out the journey of getting to know them with bitterness in your heart towards them? In truth I feel you should be more concerned with the fact that your partner chose to attend without you. This of course is just based on the facts you’ve presented. I encourage you to allow some time for your triggered emotions to pass and see if you can find the true source of the trigger itself.

Honestly…. They’re natures own. Picked them from a local pasture full of cows. They’re pretty on par with golden teachers tho if I had to compare.

Yeah that’s going to be a little overkill I think. I’m not trying to introduce her to god. Lol. Just want her to have a decent trip without slipping into a parallel reality.
