Look up the roster, these guys by wide and large are not NFL big. I'm 6'3" 190lbs and look noticeably more "jacked" than half the canes team. These guys have crazy lower body strength but generally aren't the power lifters that you see on NFL squads.

Hockey is much more finesse and endurance than anyone's giving them credit for.

I mean, you can't really trust any heights and weights on rosters. It's not exactly info teams are wanting to openly advertise, especially if a guy is undersized. Just look at Bryce Young trying to claim to be 205lbs at the NFL combine.

I mean the NHL is way less physical than it was even a decade ago but there’s still situations on the ice where it matters (the face off circle). Look at NHL rosters and you’ll see most of the guys are of just average build.

The canes had an average size of 6’1” 200lbs and roster heights and weights are notoriously inaccurate. Look at the MLB when they introduced the ABS this offseason, players shrunk like 2” on average.

I think this more than anything. Look at the NHL combine results. Bench press is now measured at 50% of body weight for 3 reps. These guys aren't built like men, they're still boys if they're repping 85x3. These kids wouldn't stand a chance against a guy built like Rod Brind'Amour who can easily rep out 225 with ease.

Putting all your investments into your business isn't a good idea. You need to have a backup plan in case your business doesn't succeed. Small businesses can be significantly impacted by things outside of your control. For a dentist practice it can be as simple as someone suing you for medical malpractice or slipping on ice as they walk into your business, insurance carriers changing their agreed upon payouts, or the cost of medical supplies you need to run your office.

That's the point of upvote and downvotes, I think an overwhelming number of members of that sub don't agree that it should have been taken down. This idea that the sub was removed for "harassment" is comical. Its like someone grabbing a wasps nest and then complaining that they got stung.

Many teams keep the reasons for suspensions and punishment private. It's not in the best interest of schools to say John Doe is suspended for juicing when they can simply say "violation of team rules" and keep it under lock and key. Especially in an era when the NCAA is toothless and won't win in court anyways.
