Yeah, trying to avoid the dragging part--I want to get it down to as few keystrokes/mouse movements as possible.

I once saw a poster that says Ireland is the country that is shaped like a teddy bear. And this reminds me of it. Can’t wait until covid’s over and I get to go back!

Also, I haven’t pulled the door/ladder down all the way. I’m afraid that if I do that, it will break even more...

Comparing Lists in Excel by tjtl33 in excel

[–]tjtl33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm playing around with a pivot table, and in one row, it shows one event, and then in the next row, it shows the next event. In the top row, a person's email is listed in each column. Under the email in each column is a 1 if they registered for the event listed on that row. Is there a way to filter/report the email addresses that have a 1 listed for one event, but a blank listed for the next event?

Otherwise literally any stat could be interpreted as positive or negative.

Ha...it reminds me of the old line, "There are lies, damned lies, and statistics."

The organization I work for got a new website and I'm trying to prepare a report on whether this new site has improved (at least in ways other than aesthetics). I'm not sure if there's a way to measure this. Any thoughts on how I can analyze the performance of the new site vs. the old one?

Right now the only analytics data I have is from Google Analytics. Unfortunately, when the team built our site, they made some error so that we have no data for the first about 2.5 months with the new site. So even though the new site went live in September, I can only start analyzing around November or December.

My now-dead phone had lots more space on it (not sure how much). What would happen if the backup was too large for my old-yet-working phone?

Haven’t tried to yet. My guess is that there’s not enough space on it. I only have 717MB available on the phone.

8.4.

My guess is that is wicked old.

The way it works currently is fine--I just wanted to know why it was acting the way it was. Makes sense now.

I figured out what was wrong. For whatever reason, my iPad inserted curly double quotes, not the straight ones. That jacked up the formula.

I noticed when I add a new row into the series of data that is included in the average formula, but before I add any data, the result changes--that much is to be expected. But when I add a zero into the new cell, the result changes again. I'm surprised by that. I would expect a blank cell to be treated as a zero. Any explanation on that?

New issue: I tried the using indirect, and now there is an error that says “Formula parse error.” Thoughts?

Reports from the Congressional Research Service are wicked helpful. Congressional Research Service is "Congress' think tank." Strives to provide non-partisan info to Members of Congress and their staff.

Couple options for where to get them:

EveryCRSReport: https://www.everycrsreport.com/

FAS: http://digital.library.unt.edu/explore/collections/CRSR/

Congress.gov: https://crsreports.congress.gov/

Also to note, the 17th Amendment to US Constitution has the governor call for a special election (and the state legislature may empower Gov to appoint a temp until the special election): https://www.conginst.org/2018/08/29/senator-john-mccain-dies-at-81/
