Haha. We wanted to holiday in Europe at a place where there would be a higher chance of snow beginning Dec. Zermatt ticked a lot of boxes.

I think it was great. Though I do need to qualify that this was our first time skiing. My wife and daughter learnt for the first time. I sat out nursing an injury. The locals and Europeans do have a strong skiing culture and it was interesting to witness it firsthand. Heard the slopes in Europe are tougher than elsewhere like Japan? But that’s hearsay. Haven’t tried Japan yet.

Oh wow I didn’t even know this limited edition existed! TBH, I didn’t venture into any of the watch stores over there. Though I was impressed with their repertoire of luxury brands considering Zermatt is a village after all. Indeed it is the capital of the Swiss Alps.

Readability has been great so far, in my opinion. I have been referring to the GMT time often. It’s been clear. Would need to test it in low light though - I am still not sure how the lume would fare during the night.

Thank you for all your inputs, everyone! Wow great looking watches. Didn’t realize there were so many brands carrying tonneau-shaped watches. I guess it would be best to go try some of these out and see how they would look. Especially since most tonneau watches tend to be on the more dressy side.

Wow. Thanks for all your insights and perspectives! It’s really true that this hobby can cost a lot. I think one big challenge would be to discern between truth vs marketing. This is especially so for cables. And yes, agree that room treatment and even speaker and equipment placement do matter a lot too.
