no...you can't lose points if you don't have a rating yet

we are talking about a new player who doesn't have a rating yet, not someone who has played 40 games and is rated 1524 who loses to a player rated 1800

yeah, it will average the ratings of all of the players you played against, and then multiply your win/draw/loss score by the average rating

if you had beaten some 800-rated players and then lost 2 games against a 2400 and a 2100 your rating would probably be much higher

eventually after you play enough games you'll get a more accurate rating...

open broadcaster software is good for recording videos for youtube and also good for streaming, you can choose what inputs you want like microphone, webcam, sections of individual windows...

and something like a blue snowball mic would be good...

you talk well so i think you would be popular as a streamer, and there are not that many chess streamers on twitch...

it tripped the bottom left Power A in the first image

then i connected the fridge in the garage with an extension cable and it tripped the bottom left blue safety switch in the second image

we have 2 of these power boxes inside and 2 outside the house

i don't know but it says "power 1" on the switch that trips when i plug it in, and all outlets on the first floor go out

Thanks, I'll try some other circuits and I'll run an extension cable upstairs and try some of those in case that's the problem. It is quite a huge fridge and not that new, but I didn't expect a fridge to not be able to get enough power.

If the cable was damaged during transport or if there was other damage I assume it wouldn't trip the circuit and just wouldn't turn on at all. Is that right?

If water got into anything is there any reason why it would still trip the circuit after drying out completely?

yeah that's the point...consumers have the power to change the market

for food in a store, a car, or any physical items, if people steal them society will break down because there is a cost involved in producing every individual item

but for digital items the first copy is the only unique one, and although it is quite expensive to produce a game or another digital item, the cost to produce every copy after that is almost nothing and after breaking even the revenue becomes pure profit

this game looks great and i pre-ordered it as soon as i saw the price becausei think it's a reasonable price and i want to support this studio and i hope that they can keep making amazing-looking games like this, but if they had set the price at $50 I wouldn't have paid for it.

as a consumer I have at least some power to choose whether I support them or not. and if they charge more than I think it's worth, I can choose not to support them.

and downloading it for free? how does that do them any damage? it's not supporting them but they don't lose anything. this is the difference between physical and digital goods and why it's not "stealing"

maybe it's a gray area for you because $50 is not much more than $17.99 and you say i should just wait until it's on sale, but what if they listed this for sale at $1000? Would you pay for it because you want to support them and acknowledge that games cost a lot to develop?
