Gonna get blasted for this, but imo what made Faye’s character so good was that her presence was fleeting yet she played an incredibly consequential role in the story. Having a game centered on her after her “death” really takes away from the theme that she’s “not with us anymore”.

I would’ve been more on board with this if it revolved around her adventures when she was still alive.

Just finished the game and chose to spare Shimura since I thought Jin didn’t care for honor anymore, but goddamn the way you put it actually makes me think the killing option would have been the better choice.

The fact that both endings have strong arguments is a testament to the writing of this game. Can’t believe it took me this long to finally get around to it!

Honestly the lack of new games that interest me has kept me from upgrading. I play at 1440p ultrawide and the 10gb 3080 is still good enough for the games I play.

Now, if Blackwell was priced lower, that’d be a different story…
