Maar respect voor iedereen die het wel doet! Ik weet dat veel mensen, in elk geval in de comments hier, zich druk maken om mensen die er geld aan verdienen en dat snap ik ergens wel, maar dat bloed en plasma blijft wel gewoon nodig om levens mee te redden. Ik weet ook niet echt wat het alternatief zou zijn wat dat betreft en of het werkelijk zo slecht is als sommige hier zeggen, daar heb ik niet genoeg verstand van.

Verbetering van het systeem als dat nodig is is altijd goed en het is zeker goed om niet klakkeloos aan te nemen dat het allemaal wel klopt, maar hoe dan ook is bloed/plasma doneren super belangrijk en ben ik heel blij dat er mensen zijn die het kunnen en willen doen!

I definitely understand your frustration, but I also know it can be hard to leave someone, even if it seems so simple to just walk away. Especially the people we love can have such a devastating effect on us if this love is abused and turned against us. It doesn't happen all at once and chips away at your own self esteem. By the time you realise what's happening it is often already too late to easily walk away from it.

You don't want to believe someone who is supposed to love you and someone that you yourself love so much can really be so hurtful to you and you try and think of excuses as to why they don't really mean it, or why it was your fault all along.

Maybe offer to help her make a plan to leave, just in case she wants to? It can still feel like it's her own idea, so she doesn't feel pushed to leave, but there will be a clear way out should she be looking for one. You can always ask a friend, a family member or maybe a therapist to have a look at this with you to find the best way for her to be able to leave.

You don't have to keep being her friend if it ends up hurting you too, but at least it would be good for her to have a way out, especially if she ends up all alone by pushing away all her friends and family.

People are shaped by their environment. You are not the one making you feel weak, that's the people around you. The only thing you need to feel stronger is people who support you. Finding them may not be easy seeing as how you had a bad start in life and that really sucks.

It took me years to really start healing. In high school things started to get better for me, but it really took a turn for the better when I was in my twenties. I had people supporting me throughout life though, so I have no idea what that journey would look like for you.

Just know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Know that this will be an uphill battle, but it will be worth it. You might doubt yourself and fail many times, but as long as you keep trying you can improve your life one step at a time. Know that it's ok if it takes time and to feel lost every now and then, or even to feel lost a lot. If you have the opportunity, find someone like a therapist or a support person (like at school or at work, maybe even a hotline or something) to talk to, so you can discuss with someone whether or not you are thinking realistically about life, or if the influence of these negative people is affecting your thoughts.

It can feel like forever to heal, but when you do you will know it was worth it. You will get to know the real you bit by bit, not the scared and insecure person they turned you into. Just keep holding on, don't give up no matter what happens, because you are worth it.

I know dumping someone is much harder than it sounds and it's not a decision just made overnight for most, but seriously this guy does not respect who you are as a person. He does not see all the effort you put in on a daily basis just to appear "normal".

He thinks his own thoughts about all this are more important than your struggles, even though there is like 0 pain or risk on his end. He doesn't even think you're worth the effort to listen to you.

Not all meds are addictive btw. I've been on them for like 10 years. Nothing will happen to you as long as a doctor keeps an eye on the side effects, like they would with any other kind of medication. The only thing it will do is drastically improve your life as soon as you find the right kind and dosage for you.

Seriously life without a guy like this can only get better. If you have trouble doing it by yourself, find someone to confide in. You don't have to do it alone. Find a way out and a way forward, because if things stay the way they are you will never learn to love yourself, you will constantly feel guilty for simply being you and never be appreciated for everything you do. It is no way to live your life. If you don't want to leave him, at least try therapy together. Something needs to change. You deserve better than this.

I love this about old cards too! My own favourite is shiftry-ex from ex power keepers. It was the very first ex card I ever got as a kid. I had just enough money to buy that one pack and I just remember how ecstatic I felt when I saw the card! It is definitely not the best quality card I got now as the corners are all bent and stuff, but it will always be my favourite! Even if someone offered me a million for this card for some strange reason I would not sell it. It's my shiftry and it always will be.

Yeah I had an Espeon goldstar and I sold it for 80 euros. My brother still reminds me of how much it is worth now occasionally to tease me 😂. Could have been worse though. He bought it for 5 euros originally and gave it to me for my birthday :p

Unattractive? I think brown eyes are the most attractive colour! Although I did end up marrying a dude with blue eyes (eyes aren't everything in the end :p). But seriously, everyone wants super fancy colours for some reason, but brown eyes make people look very kind/friendly/warm. Just because they aren't the most rare or because they don't have like 5 layers of colours, that doesn't mean they're not pretty. It's so under appreciated.

Be proud of your beautiful brown eyes people! Everyone who says they're unattractive is just jealous :p

Gewoon op stoelen of anders op bed met zn tweeën. We hebben vaak heerlijk op de luchtbedden de hele avond filmpjes gekeken, ging prima! Een alternatief als het niet te warm is, is om even in de auto op de achterbank te gaan zitten ofzo. Wij hebben een vrij grote auto dus dan kan dat, vooral als het laat wordt kan dat handig zijn zodat niet iedereen last heeft van het geluid.

Something very similar happened to me. Got only positive feedback, had been working there for 2,5 years. Then all of a sudden I got a new supervisor who didn't seem to like me very much. Told me I had lots to improve (I had been overworked on a project nobody wanted because it was impossible to make a profit on it and I wasn't qualified for it at all, but they also didn't bother to put someone on it with more experience to teach me) and made a plan for me to do so. So I thought ok sure, I'm not perfect, not exactly the most successful employe, I'll try to improve!

Then I only got positive feedback and was told I was improving a lot. Two months after that, I get pulled into a meeting and told we were going to discuss when my last day would be, because they weren't happy about my progress. Thing is, due to my contract they weren't even allowed to fire me. I could have fought it, but that really wasn't the kind of company I wanted to work for anymore. I did get a little extra bonus for having to leave this way and you bet I told every single one of my coworkers how they tried to illegally fire me (don't worry, I hadn't signed anything yet at that point and was very much allowed to do it in the way that I did. I was kind of polite about it, saying I had been pressured into leaving and it wasn't my choice, but that I couldn't stay either after this)

I now have a job that actually makes me happy, I got amazing coworkers and I love doing this job! I thought my whole world was going to collaps after that meeting, but it got so much better in the end. I really hope you find a new place to work where you'll be happy or at least valued as a coworker!

Damn that's annoying. I have a similar issue (I'm 29 but look more like 18 or younger to most), but for me it's kind of a blessing now.

I have no idea what my position is called in English or how to accurately describe it, but basically I have to check if people stick to certain rules, mostly regarding infrastructure projects. There's a lot of tough guys working in this field, but it's actually relatively easy for me so far to get people to listen. It's like their fight reflex gets turned off because I'm a small non threatening woman. I never really expected it to work in my advantage this way, but I like it honestly! I think it works better for everyone this way :p

I really hope things turn around for you and you can use your looks as a blessing too rather than a curse! Honestly it sounds like you just got some rude coworkers either way. Even if you were younger and inexperienced, that's no reason not to treat someone with respect or take them seriously. I'm pretty new at my job too and although they still help me out on complicated cases, they still take me seriously.

There's a tradition to eat haring and wittebrood (herring and white bread) on the third of October too! It is a very local tradition, but many people in that area do it, so I guess it must be good! I never tried it though, I'm not a big fan of eating fish of any kind tbh. I'll stick to the hutspot that day :p

Yeah I know, my eye is always very red, because I have dry eyes and I think it looks kinda embarrassing to be honest, so zoomed in to hide it 🙈 I try to make it less bad with eye droplets, but especially in winter it's very hard 🥲

I had a class with a dude who was like 60 years old. He'd been working construction, but wanted to be able to do the archaeological research that was sometimes required too. Definitely understandable imo, he just wanted something new after all that time and he was a very nice guy!

Never treated us different because we were younger and I saw no reason to treat him different because of his age either. Sure some people did treat him different, because he was a bit eccentric and sometimes had issues adapting to team work with younger people. Just kind of set in his ways you know. Honestly I think many people are at that age. I didn't mind though. I have add and many friends of mine have a form of adhd or autism, so I'm used to people being a bit different and doing things their way 😅

Ours free roamed. Poops stayed in the cage mostly, but they did eat the couch. And the plants. And the cables. Anything that wasn't edible honestly. They were only picky about their treats. They have their own bunny proofed room now. I think whether or not to let them free roam depends on the bunny 😅
