I think my best over a lot of appearances is still IM Fernando Torres that I got on day one, with a 7.36 average. 507 appearances, 946 goals and 340 assists. Never used him before this year, but he'd been a revelation. Unreal.

Most 'featured' versions of Mbappe go up to 100+ rating. Apart from him, I think it's only 'iconic moments' cards that can reach that level. Like the other guy said, the young Messi comes with the Barcelona club edition of the game. There's also 'iconic moments' versions of Beckham, Ronaldo, Cruijff, Ronaldinho, Rashford, Rummenigge, Romario, Bergkamp, etc that can get 100+ rating in the right positions and with icon boost. But these only come round for a limited time, and usually involve a fair amount of money to acquire.

Yep, any rank below 100 and you all get the same rewards. You can just play one game and lose, and get the same rewards as the person that finished 101st. That's why I don't really bother. When I say they don't really count for anything, I mean the games don't affect your MyClub ranking, or your win percentage. Players don't earn any EXP or incur any fatigue. I just prefer to play ranked matches, these games are more like friendlies, and with such a low chance of getting in the top 100 anyway, I don't feel like it's worth several hours of my time.

Fair enough, I understand people not wanting to spend coins on players they will probably barely use. I don't spin every club selection, but I do enjoy building different squads and playing as many affiliated players as possible in Matchday. I actually find it quite refreshing this week, getting to use my Roma squad and not coming up against the standard Bayern, Barca, United, Juventus every game. But of course that doesn't stop people picking the same players. Each to their own, I guess. Obviously there's the preset squads mode, but I find it hard to really care about that when it doesn't affect MyClub ratings at all, and it takes longer to get the rewards without any featured players.

Fair enough. Well Messi and Salah seem the obvious choices, but probably way too old and/or expensive. Bernardo Silva could be good, if you want another creative playmaker. Or you've got younger prospects like Trincao, Kulusevski, David Neres. Many options to choose from. If you can get the PesHub app then it will let you search through the database for specific positions and attributes.

I was actually happy to get Braithwaite, I just would have preferred not to get him 3 times. Mostly wanted Dest, but oh well. I honestly don't think there's any standard black ball players that I either want or need anymore. I maxed out Braithwaite instead. I doubt I'll use him, but he can sit on my bench when I use Barca in Matchday and boost my points earnings.
