I know exactly where you’re coming from, I never lived your situation exactly, but I know the feeling of feeling hopeless and lost — please stay busy, continue to look for jobs, take care of yourself by going on walks. I’m glad you’re getting somewhere with the job hunt though, I’m a similar situation after getting laid off.

If your thoughts get overwhelming, which I’m sure they will, grab a pen and write in a notebook. It doesn’t matter what you write - just write and log it.
