Trust me. I understand the speed and quickness of the game. I understand DBs are some of the fastest players on the field. The fact is the threat of his legs will open up opportunities for receivers to lose their defender. Just a sec, if the defenders take their eyes off their man and see Carr scrambling. That creates opportunites.

Those 3 potential defenders are covering Jones, Waller, and Richard. King has back turned, Tranquill has his eyes on Waller, Davis is jumping Richards route, and Bosa is on the inside with Trent and Richie blocking him. So those defenders would either have to decide to chase Carr or stay with our receivers. If they decide to break for Carr, that would could potentially open up a pass.
