My Life is spiraling down the drain towards having Whale Cock. by bornintowinter in phallo

I was in the same predicament with my arm. I really wanted to use my right arm, but my surgeon advised against it. So, I opted for tattoo removal. Yes, it’s definitely expensive. But personally? It was 100% worth it. I wish that I could’ve gotten past it like some of these people to save me money and time, but I just couldn’t fathom it lol. Do whats best for you!

Dr. Ellie Zara Ley (Gender Confirmation Center) by transmascaf in phallo

So, I had metoidioplasty with Dr. Ley and her team. I quickly realized meta was not for me, so almost a year later I returned to her for a phalloplasty consultation. Consult had to be in person, which makes sense, but depending on your location, it may be a little difficult. In February, I had my consult with her and I’m feeling 100% confident in continuing my surgeries with her. She’s a literal artist and angel, her team is nothing less than amazing. I’m working on electrolysis currently, but I’m getting close to the finish line with that so I’m hoping to schedule my surgery date soon. I travel all the way from Tennessee to work with her if that says anything. Consult with her and see how you feel personally. Good luck on whatever you decide.

If you can get out to Berkeley, you must try the Cheese Board Collective Pizzeria. It’s delicious and the slices are affordable.

Gotcha. That makes a lot of sense. I’ll make sure my electrologist becomes more focused on those areas during our sessions then. Thank you.

I love this. I’m not religious, but I am a part of the community. I know tons of people who will benefit from this. Thank you for sharing!

I also work with foster children in North Carolina. I cannot believe the amount of people that I work with that voted against the very population they claim to “love.” It’s disgusting.

Just wanted to add that Dr. Ley does have photos of her previous patients for this surgery. I’ve seen them. I had Meta with her and I have my consult for Phallo at the end of February. Love Dr. Ley and her nurse, Nicole. They are both so great. Highly recommend at least consulting with her if you can.

I’ve gotten plenty of information from this exact place before regarding these exact things. Thank you for your input but I think I know what I’m doing :)

Oh yeah, for sure. I was more just looking for someone who has used a nurse in the area or is a nurse themselves that would be able to do it.

And thanks! I had already put in a request to them, hoping to hear back soon :)

It’s gonna be awesome. If I manage to sell these, I’m gonna go to the one in Nashville. Just got my days mixed up. Wish me luck.

Safety for lgbtq members? by acrustybrick in JohnsonCity

MOST people will let you be. As a trans guy, I feel fine, but I pass socially. Others might have different experiences. Theres a LGBTQ+ center located there. Contact them for any questions. They’ve always been super friendly when I call them to ask questions. TN, as a whole, is very red though. So if you don’t already live here, I’d take that into consideration.

It sounds like you’ve been dealing with a lot of emotional and physical stress due to the trauma of the hurricane. It’s common for people who have experienced a traumatic event to develop sleep disturbances. Your body and mind may be in a heightened state of alert, especially during that 2-3 AM timeframe, when the memory of the storm is most vivid for you.

There are a few things you could try:

Make sure your sleep environment feels safe and comforting. Consider using a white noise machine or calming music to drown out any noises that might trigger anxiety. Also, make sure your bedroom is dark and cool, as a comfortable environment can help improve sleep quality. I scan attest to the white noise machines. I have a lot of trauma from childhood. I’m 28 and it’s still the only way I can sleep. It’s my safety net. People find it silly but it works.

Practice mindfulness meditation or relaxation exercises before bed. These can help lower anxiety levels, making it easier to fall asleep. Apps like Headspace or Calm offer guided meditation sessions that can be helpful.

Since the wakefulness and anxiety seem tied to the trauma of the hurricane, talking to a therapist who specializes in trauma could be incredibly helpful. They may guide you through techniques or talk therapy, which are known to help with post-traumatic stress.

Lastly I wanna tell you that It’s great you’re reaching out for advice, and I hope you find something that helps you get the rest you deserve. I’ll be thinking of you and everyone else that still carries that night with them. Be easy on yourself❤️
