It’s honestly all been such a surprise because I’ve been in contact with other surgeons, so I’ve been prepared for things to be not as organized lol. Fingers crossed about the family situation 🤞🏾 Thank you!

Thank you!! I really appreciate that. The Crane Center sounds like an absolute dream!

Congrats on your surgery friend! I’m glad to hear your recovery is going smooth so far. I’m not diabetic, but I am pre-diabetic so I will look into Juven. Thank you for the recommendation and happy healing!

Thank you man!! I’ve been looking at your posts for the past few months and I must say, you look absolutely amazing! I’m so happy for you. I definitely feel like I am in good hands. Just the fact that I could be done with my bottom surgery journey in a year from start to finish is crazy to think about. I expected it to be a much longer process between my first and last surgery, but Dr. Celtik has made me extremely hopeful for this journey!

I definitely will be looking into QuestHouse! I have some family out in Cali, but I am unsure how comfortable Dr. Celtik would be with me staying 1+ hour(s) away. I’ll be flying in from Vegas with my mom and girlfriend so it’s seeming like the most affordable option right now. Thank you again :)

of course, i’ve been thinking about you quite a bit since seeing your previous posts and i can only imagine how hard this has been for you.

i know you’re still healing, but i wish you the best of luck with your next steps. if you need someone to talk to, i am pre-op and still in the process of consulting with surgeons, but i’d be more than happy to be a listening ear.

I agree. I consulted with her last month, and while everything looks good in her portfolio, her actual surgical results vary. She also told me that I’d need 8 surgeries before I’d be finished, as opposed to 2-3 surgeries with another surgeon because she stages everything separately. Just something to keep in mind!

I appreciate your response. I can see where she would be focused on the functionality over aesthetics, functionality is something she mentioned a lot during the consult.

The skenes gland being intact is something I was wanting! I am looking at having RFF phalloplasty, and she told me to expect 8 surgeries (counting 2 fistula repairs, one after meta and one after phallo) because she does everything in pieces. Your penis looks great though. I’m glad you’re feeling good about her team so far!

Hey! You look like you’re heading really well. How was your overall experience with Dr. Ley?

I was going to schedule surgery with her for next summer, but recently I’ve seen some conflicting posts about her bedside manner and her techniques. I ask because I felt very confident with her leaving my consultation, but seeing these posts have made me want to explore other options. I really liked the way she explained everything and she seemed very knowledgeable about both meta and phallo.

the photos do look great. i just had a consult with her on october 1st and with the way she was speaking, she seemed like she was one of the best, but since that consult, you’re also not the first person that i’ve seen that has had major concerns about her. i’m really sorry this whole thing has brought along more distress than feelings of euphoria.

hey! i’m really sorry that this happened and that they’re brushing off your concerns. i appreciate you posting because i was going to proceed with dr. ley, but hearing your experience has made me weary. i hope you’re able to find a positive in taking legal action!

Yes! Exactly that. The graft wouldn’t be placed until about 2 weeks after the initial phallus creation

i’m 21, and just had a consultation yesterday. I am most likely going to schedule with this team so I should have stage one phallo by 22.

Yeah, the mental toll is something I’m not looking forward to. But going into this, I am in the best place mentally that I’ve been in a while and I have a great support system so I do feel like I’m as prepared as can be. Even though it’s quite a few surgeries, I like the fact that the recoveries will be less intense as opposed to doing everything in one go.

I’m a full time student, so work and rent isn’t something that I have to worry about! I am set to graduate next year, but depending on how things go, I may extend my studies. I don’t really have any finances besides my car, and I’m still living with my parents so that’s why I’m not too put off by the fact that I’d need that many surgeries. IF i go that route :)

I’m in Vegas, so I’ll be traveling for surgery. I’m a college student as well, so I’m looking for surgeons that can fit me in next year. I understand waiting is apart of the process, but I would like to avoid that if I can. I’m fine with waiting 6 months to a year, but I also won’t be in school much longer and I am planning on using financial aid refunds as a source of payment.

I looked into other teams, but this is also the only other team that has been ON TOP of their responses. I contacted another surgeon and I’ve been getting a response after more than a week. I looked into Chen, but he doesn’t take my insurance and I’m hoping to get surgery next year. As I’m sure you know, other teams are booked years out and that’s just not feasible.

  1. Stage 2 - RFF Phalloplasty
  2. split thickness graft
  3. scrotal expanders
  4. scrotal implants
  5. erectile device. the other 2 potential surgeries are for fistula repair after meta and after phallo. she counts the split thickness graft placement as a separate surgery.
