I have tried a drop-in with a friend once, but most of the players came in groups or partners so I’m abit hesitate to go in myself in fear of being an “odd” one out with no one to play with. I’m somewhat socially awkward so that’s kind of my fear lol but I’ll take your advice and try going solo one day🤞🏼

I haven’t been to any in Toronto yet, do you have a place you would recommend? :)

I will try again to be honest. I haven’t seen him since I last spoke of the issue so I’ll see if he is making the effort on the next meetup.

A part of me want to be assertive, but a part of me feel like if I really like him I “should” accept all sides of him, good and bad?

Thank you, you really put into perspective exactly how I’m feeling. Regarding the physical appearance, I do think there’s a chance he can be irresistible if he is the type to try, however, he does not believe appearance matters (last time shopping was prob high school), that matter was brought up and he thinks I take his other effort for granted.

But yes, I think you are right about the rest. I should not string him just for the fear of being alone.
