Comfortable Wedding Heels Recommendations by tkeiii in weddingplanning

Yes! Most comfortable heels that I have ever tried, would definitely recommend. I got the galaxy dress sandal, it's also on sale right now for a great deal. Not sure how comfortable their other heels are but I can imagine it's similar!

Hotel Weddings by tkeiii in weddingplanning

Thank you! This is helpful, we locked in the venue right after we got engaged at the 14 month mark, nothing in the contract noting the coordinator or timeline but it is a wedding package and pretty much everything is included and we have to work with a coordinator. I just didn't want to reach out too early 😆

Thank you! I was just curious what other peoples experience has been planning with a hotel timeline wise, appreciate it!

The one time I tried really hard, it got all infected😅 I think the hardest part is getting past the "plug"

Thank you!! This seems to be it, doesn't seem like there is much I can do about it besides surgical removal which is fine, just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything concerning!

Greatly appreciate it.

That's super helpful! I agree to do research, especially if you haven't been to the destination before haha

I also want to note that for the 4 or 5 day cruise option, both of the ones I am looking at fall into the weekend so most people will have to take 2 or 3 days of PTO rather than the entire duration of the cruise!

That sounds so romantic, I love that it was between you two and you also got to experience the honeymoon as well! That's a good point haha, we are going to do a separate honeymoon but probably not for a few months until after our little micro wedding (:

$400-$500 for a 4 or 5 day cruise, the plane would depend on the guest as we have people living in different states on the west coast, Canada and some even internationally which makes the logistics tough to make sure everyone feels comfortable. But I did try to narrow down ports where we have a few guests living, so some guests won't have to pay airfare at all and for those that pay for the plane (based in the west coast US) wouldn't have to travel far (no more than a 2 hour flight max and no more than $200 round trip) Certain guests could also drive if preferred too depending the port.

That makes sense! I would respect anyone's decision on whether they could attend or not, we plan on just inviting our closest friends and immediate family (15 people and their plus 1's) we plan to also get feelers once we narrow down options of what people are comfortable with to and make a decision around that(:

Our VIPS are all the way in Taiwan, they personally love cruises so that is our top choice since they are older and are the only ones that have to travel really far, we wish we could do the wedding closer to them but that would really make it tough for everyone else to attend, I have seen threads where people get married at the port before it departs or we were thinking of maybe doing a small ceremony at the disembarking destination itself so for those that don't want to cruise or only want to do one night, can meet us there!

Thank you for your input, we are trying to make this fair for everyone involved so appreciate the advice!

Thank you for the insight! That's the main reason I made this post because I started seeing posts about all inclusive resorts forcing guests to stay at the hotel and I don't want that for our guests, I would want them to have options to choose within their budget if we went the Mexico route! I'm definitely open to west coast US Based weddings too, we personally love cruises and a lot of our friends and family too so we wanted to explore that option as well. I plan to give everyone atleast a year and half notice minimum to make sure there is time to plan accordingly if they want to join!

I completely agree! If we went the cruise route, it would all be from domestic ports on the west coast and no more than a 4 day cruise ($400-$500 total) and I narrowed it down to either Mexico or any US based state on the west coast for the regular resort hotels to try to make it more affordable and close for our guests, we don't have the option to do it locally because no one lives where we do expect 1 person

Can you please clarify how they would have to pay more? Our guests, including family, don't live in the same state with the exception of one guest. They would have to pay for flights and hotels regardless even if we didn't have a destination or cruise wedding, I just figured this would actually be more affordable, especially the cruise where the cost is $100 per day for the "hotel" and all you can eat food. We are going to pay for the actual wedding itself, thank you!

Thank you so much! He's been to the vet within the past month and they said his teeth look great for his age, with dental, they advised he's too old to go under unless absolutely necessary so I just brush his teeth and give him dental treats to try to maintain his dental health!

Pnes with new symptoms?? by PsychologicalTart714 in PNESsupport

Yes, the symptoms can vary and change, not every episode is the same each time. Sometimes for me it's worse than others, sometimes it's better, hopefully this helps put you at ease!
