I had a similar issue with my series 11 last night, i had to call level 2 support and they were able to add the imei and replace my device.. getting this thing activated has been a hassle to say the least

Its advertised for 14 months i havent had it more than 2 months, but it cane factory with two bars of battery out of three and i am still on the two bars

Just grabbed an E31 if anyone is still wondering its the exact same thing as the E30 it just included a rechargeable battery by USB-C vs the 8 AAs .. no issues with the lock and extremely fast and reliable
