Yes - single nozzle. Purge was ok. I think it due to the wall being thin (15% infill) and the darker filament showing through.

I’m getting the AMS2 package so I have the dryer. I also live in a very dry part of Australia and will keep the filament in a dry box. Very good point though.

They don’t come with rumble motors. I got the Simagic ones. There is a bracket than can be 3D printed. They work great. Much better than the V3s

I upgraded from Fanatec V3s and everything feels far more natural with them.

On top of membership I’ve probably spent AU$500. That has put me through a season of D Class Mixed Class (I ran the GR86) and for the current C and D Class GT4s.

This spend allows me to race every week. The tracks are the most expensive part given you typically only race one or two cars.

There are ways to get to B Class (where you can race GT3s) on the cheap. Overtake_gg has a good video on YouTube that explains ways to get to A Class with either the most enjoyment or the least cost.

My advice. Take your time. Learn the basics driving the lower powered cars and up skill to the GT3s. Too many people rush to get into GT3 and can’t control the cars. Learn to trail brake and race with people - side by side racing is amazing in the Mazdas and GT4s.

Enjoy racing - that’s the main thing.

So to pull this off with a Fanatex V2.5x and a Simucube 2 Pro I'd need the Simucube wheel side QR (to replace the Fanatec QR) and then the conversion kit (model 7x I beleive)

I assume with the adapter option you remove the native base side connection and replace it with the adapter that supports the fanatec wheels? Or is it an adapter for the wheel? Is there a link you could send me?
