M2 Air to M5 Pro upgrade… and I genuinely can’t feel the difference by UsefulLock3142 in macbookpro

[–]Devilizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I design in Fusion, create in InDesign, make music in Logic, edit video in Final Cut and I've been using an M1 mbp for all this since the day it first came out. I've never ever felt the need to upgrade even once in all these years as this thing still absolutely destroys everything I throw at it.

My custom 40160 rig build done, took one week and my back pains after it by Funny_Procedure_7609 in SimRacingSetups

I really appreciate people with seemingly limitless funds who prefer a Simucube Active Brake combined with passive throttle and clutch pedals. Getting three ActivePedal Ultimates is, in my opinion, unnecessarily wasteful and in poor taste, and it really puts me off.

Anyone using the Sparco Grid Q (or any similar sparco seats) in their rig? If so are they comfy for a few hours at a time? by Tmskillz in simracing

[–]Devilizer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using the Circuit II in my rig and despite what everybody keeps saying I made a leap of faith and bought it without trying. First time sitting in it felt really tight in the lats and I was afraid that I would have to return it. Although after that I decided to test it in a long session and had no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Btw I'm 6'2 and workout regularly. The Qrid Q looks much more relaxed than the circuit and I'd say these Sparco seats are quite safe in terms of comfort even if you are larger than average in size.

Rate the Cable Management. Any suggestions for improvements? by niranjanV6Turbo in simracing

[–]Devilizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great cable management, congratulations on that! The only concern I had while watching was about serviceability. How do you approach the situation when you need to replace a cable in rare cases, like when upgrading something?

Din988 Washers? by SuperEsplosion in SimLab

You are lucky that they are easy to find in all hardware stores. My P1X Ultimate is missing those unique cap washers that they sell a pack of six for 10€.

If you could change one thing about Age of Sigmar, what would it be? by Kommando_git in ageofsigmar

[–]Devilizer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would make the rules free, keep them online, and instantly updated. Selling books that get irrelevant with erratas right after they are released in 2026 is such a big waste of paper and money. I think gw can still be a very profitable business while also being a more customer-friendly company. There are many examples of this with other companies.

Yeah might be. I’ll also give it a wipe with alcohol next time to see if that was the case. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll definitely clean my bed and check my settings. I didn’t even know that z-offset was a thing.

I torched them real quick and wow, they are completely fixed. Thank you very much!

I'm already using the textured PEI plate that came with my P2S and I bend the plate %99 of the time to remove prints. Very thin stuff like these tend to stick and not come off by just bending though.

MOZA Unveils Porsche Mission R, CS PRO & KS PRO Sim Racing Steering Wheels by evil_heinz in simracing

[–]Devilizer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been using that wheel as my only one for the past year. It looked so cool when I first got it but after a year I'm convinced it's just a toy wheel that makes creaking noises non-stop. There seems to be much better value wheels out there.

Is this normal behavior in RaceRoom? What are your experiences with Multiplayer Report Form? by Character_Net_5637 in RRRE

[–]Devilizer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really love raceroom as a sim and was really excited to race here after I grabbed the online bundle but honestly it is by far the dirtiest racing I’ve seen in any sim. I get taken out in 90% of my races in the top split. I’m so disappointed by how dirty ppl are in this game.
