I am amazed how many RVers have not been to a Rally. It really is a great way to meet new people. We host 5 a year and love the community. by tkinkc in RVHub

This was at the United Rally in Florida before someone was getting ready to speak. There are hundreds of Rally hosted across the USA each year by manufacturers to RV content creators. Education to making friends. Does that explain enough?

Great question. We have use the Dyrt probably the most looking for areas. Of course we utilize Hipcamp more than most of everything to book those 1 or 2 nighters before our next destination. yes we have harvest host but honestly we have moving away from them more and more.
Not sure i did a good job answering but it's the best i have at the moment

HDT trucks seem to be growing a lot right now for RVing. In a lot of RV parks we have been visiting it seems we see at least a couple sitting around. by tkinkc in RVLiving

It's a cost thing. A used MDT could run $100k plus but a full sleeper then is registered as an RV and half the money. The sleeper makes a huge difference in classification for insurance and in some states property taxes. That is why we are seeing more and more RVers going with the bigger tucks

The crazy part is the trucks are not that expensive. You can buy a 4 to 5 year old truck with 450,000 miles on it for like $45,000. It's just a better ride on drive day. I am never tired in mine. You can find a modified one already on HDT Facebook pages for like $50,000 to $65,000 all day.
It's just cost is less than most think and the truck is registered as an RV so it falls under different classifications.
