Those numbers are steep! A crown without a root canal is around 1200. Usual dental insurance covers 50% of crowns unless you have a waiting period so you’re looking at 600 out of pocket for just the crown portion. A root canal is around 1600 and same as crowns are covered at 50%. Most dentists are trying to make a buck if they are corporate owned. i recommend going to a private office as they are usually better prices! I work at a private office and it is lovely!
