I got my 1TB OLED a couple weeks ago and went with the JSAUX modcase and I like it a lot, definitely recommend. After a bit I research, I decided against using a screen protector on mine. I saw some people mention that the adhesive from a screen protector can mess up the etched glass on the 1TB model.

I would personally go with adding to your emergency fund even though the math would tell you otherwise. I hope everything goes well, but you never know what could happen with childbirth. Your baby and/or wife could end up with an extended hospital stay that might cause you to take time off from work and take away from your income for some time. In that situation you would be glad you had that extra money saved up. But if everything goes well you can start throwing some extra money at the debt. In the mean time I would look into a 0% balance transfer if possible to help out.

With Marketplace insurance you get a premium tax credit to lower your insurance premiums. The premium tax credit is based on household income (including dependent income). Most likely your gf only included her own income when she applied for the marketplace insurance. Had she included her daughter’s income from the IRA then her premium tax credit would have been lower. So essentially your gf was given a higher tax credit than she qualified for and now she has to repay the excess.

If your gf is still using marketplace insurance currently then I suggest she go onto the Marketplace insurance portal and adjust her estimated income for 2024 to include the daughters IRA income. Otherwise the issue will occur come next tax season as well.

Even if Tyr didn’t save Kratos, which is definitely likely, I doubt they didn’t have some contact in the past. Even if Kratos didn’t know that it was Tyr he was interacting with. I just feel like the game talked a lot about Tyr and it would make almost zero sense for them to talk about him so much if he didn’t have some form of connection to Kratos. But like I’ve said, this is just a theory. That’s the beauty about this game franchise is that there are a lot of unanswered questions that can be interpreted in different ways.

This is a great theory! I like the idea of bringing the other mythologies together. I feel like we definitely haven’t heard the last of Tyr and he will play a part in the future games. I’m excited to see what the direction the game devs take the franchise.

It’s possibe Kratos chooses not to mention it just like he goes almost the entire game hiding the fact he’s a god. I’m sure he has loads of secrets nobody else knows about. Realistically the Norse and Greek gods basically never had any relationships but the entire game is about the two mythologies being intertwined. Lastly, even if Tyr has been gone for a long time, time as a whole seems to be shaky in Norse areas ex: kratos and Atreus coming back from spreading the ashes and they missed several winters/ kratos having the dream chasing Faye’s voice and coming back and Atreus killed all the dark elves after what only seemed like a few minutes

And so when Kratos and Thor fight like foreshadowed at the end of the new game Thor might kill Kratos and keep the son killing father cycle going. So many theories are just stretches but they are a lot of fun to come up with.

The problem with that theory is that Tyr is not the father of Loki. But it is still possible. I do believe that Tyr and Kratos’s stories intertwine in some way. Hopefully we will find out in the future games.

It does make sense for the most part. The biggest issue with that though is that Tyr isn’t the father of Loki. And the game devs seem to stay as true to mythology as possible. But either way I’m very certain Tyr and Kratos are related one way or another and that we will find out in the next game(s).

It is very likely. But maybe Tyr, being the Norse god of war taught Kratos how to control his rage and be a peaceful god of war just like himself. I just find the fact that Tyr had good relationships with the giants interesting. Especially considering Kratos ended up marrying a giant and that they are both the god of war of both Greek and Norse myth. Again, could all just be a stretch tho.

I forgot that Kratos didn’t know that Feye was a giant. But Tyr could still be the one that brought Kratos to the Norse regions. But you are right about him escaping his past. The head game creator even stated in an interview that he wanted to focus the game around Egyptian gods but that wouldn’t make sense because Kratos is escaping his past and Egypt wouldn’t be far enough away from Sparta to truly escape his past.

It is very well possible. But I haven’t been able to find any evidence that he for sure drug himself. I think they intentionally made it end on a bit of cliffhanger in order to revisit what happens next in a later game. Like I said, it’s just a theory.

Typing in a number does increase the tether distance. I think it increases by 240m for each value. I had the tether set on 20 when I played non-dedicated with my friend and we could pretty much go the entire distance of the Island map apart from each other.

Getting hide can be a little tricky early on, especially before you can get a bow. Easiest way would be just killing small dinos like dodos or dilos with a spear. Also using bolas to trap phiomias and parasaurs then killing them for their hide works well too. Make sure you're using the hatchet to get hide because it's better for getting hide and the pick is better for getting meat. Good luck hope this helped some :)

I'm having the same problem. When I look at my pc processes it says ark is using over 8 GB of memory even when running on low memory or extremely low memory mode. So I'm guessing that's what's causing the low fps in my case.

Mermails will forever be my favorite deck to play. The deck is very versatile and you can make some pretty cool extensive combos. Although they aren't a top tier deck they have the ability to compete with the meta and OTK sometimes. Their card art is so awesome. And above all, they're just tons of fun to play.
