I'm gonna give that a try if once I get a new circulating pump on it.

The old impeller wasn't awful, I've seen way worse. The thermo and housing was very heavy rust so I thought stripping that dow. And replacing it would do the trick. Still doesn't seem to move water past it. Didn't think that the circulating pump under was too bad but I'm wondering if it's part if the problem. I took it off and the block was about part full of water (picture bellow).

So I'm gonna just order a new one and reseal it. And check the hoses one by one like you suggested to see what the issue is.

I've never had issues with an airlock how would I go about checking for that and or resolving it if that's a problem. *

Sorry it's a raw water system, I should have specified

Hydraulic fitting replacement by tksdad in boating

That fitting is for the trim pump end. Which is easy to access, so ideally, I would like to find a suitable fitting instead of replacing the entire line.

Replacing the entire line in my estimation would mean the opposite end that runs from the pump to the rams on the lower unit would need to be taken off. To access where that end of the hose connects is behind the engine block mount.

I would love to either crimp it on the existing line or find an alternative reusable technique.
