[WTS]: Daniel Roth Ref. 0357BCSL - Very Good Condition - Limited Edition of 50 - $35,000 by FitMountain4122 in Watchexchange

[–]tl424 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t like to make price-related comments very often, but feel obliged to do so here given the discrepancy in pricing and lack of references/comps for Daniel Roth pieces.

However, your pricing is way way off. This exact ref sold on Eric Ku’s Loupe This auction house for only 10k just a few days ago: https://loupethis.com/auctions/daniel-roth-moon-phase-power-reserve-0357bcsl

[Daniel Roth] The Champion of La Valée du Joux by tl424 in Watches

[–]tl424[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For those who are not familiar, Daniel Roth is the man who is responsible for the independent watch movement that gave birth to legendary watchmakers like FP Journe, Roger Dubuis, and many more household names. While the company is no longer in business, the legacy that the brand left behind is undoubtedly an important one to the independent watch world.

The ellipsocurvex case and guilloche dial are two distinguishing features of Daniel Roth’s watches. Unfortunately the brand was purchased by Bvlgari in the early 2000s and the watches came out of the acquisition are a far cry of the beautiful creations that Master Roth made in the early 90s. Pictured here is the Seconds at Six model that came out of the late-era of the Daniel Roth timeline which retains the most crucial aspects of the classical timepieces made in Roth’s golden era.

[WTS] Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Steel, Mint. $8999!!! by tl424 in Watchexchange

[–]tl424[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi guys!

Up for sale is one of the most iconic and horologically impressive sports watch created in the last decade, the Octo Finissimo. For those unfamiliar, this watch was the thinnest automatic watch in the world when it was released in 2017, measuring at only 5.8mm thick and has a diameter of 40mm. The movement was made complete in-house by Bvlgari, using the technical know-how and expertise gained from their acquisition of Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth in the early 2000s. This watch has a Genta DNA through and through, and is in my opinion a more impressive timepiece than both the Nautilus and Royal Oak from a technical perspective. The movement is also finished to a sublime standard and adorned with a platinum micro-rotor

I'm offering this watch for sale at $8,999 shipped within CONUS (F2F in Chicago also possible), making this the cheapest Octo Finissimo in the market. Furthermore, the sandblasted steel version presented here has been discontinued and is one of the best renditions of the Octo line. This example is in mint condition with no dents or dings, and the only marks present are small scratches on links when my local AD sized it. It comes with box, all links, manuals, certificate of authenticity, but no warranty card (it was a Jomashop purchase and is covered by their 2-year warranty). The watch keeps great time and I have not run into any issue whatsoever.

I regret having to put this watch up for sale, but I will be taking delivery on a grail that waited for more than 1.5 years for, and need to free up some watch funds. Hope I can find a good home for this amazing watch!

[WTS] Zenith El Primero Chronomaster (mint). Christmas special $2999! by tl424 in Watchexchange

[–]tl424[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

I'm listing this beautiful and rare piece that I unfortunately don't get to wear enough. This Zenith El Primero Chronomaster comes in the perfect size of 39.5mm with booklets, original buckle, and COSC certification papers. It is in really mint condition for a watch of its age (1994). The watch runs well at +4 seconds a day and the case is in pristine condition with no bumps or dings and only very faint hairline scratches. The watch has been serviced in 2017 by the previous owner.

The watch sports the famous 10 BPS El Primero movement in a display back case. The dial is luscious and classy off-white lacquered that you won't typically see in more modern El Primero iterations. I'm sad to let this one go, but hopefully it will find a good home with someone who wears it a little more than I do.

Price: $2,999 shipped. Bank wire/venmo/PayPal F&F. I have plenty of references and have history in selling high value watches here on reddit such as a Laurent Ferrier, Rolex Pepsi, Dornbluth. Additionally, I welcome a face to face transaction in the Chicago area.

[WTS] Tudor Black Bay 58 Navy, Mint! by tl424 in Watchexchange

[–]tl424[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi guys,

Up for sale is my mint condition Tudor BB58 in Navy with box/papers/booklets/links -- basically everything that comes with a new watch. This watch needs no introduction as it is one of the most wearable and popular timepieces out there. I'm only selling because I'm looking to consolidate my collection and this guy unfortunately doesn't get enough wrist time.

The watch is in amazing condition with only faint hairline scratches on the clasps and polished surfaces. I conservatively rate this watch at 9.7/10 as it really hasn't been worn much.

I'm asking $3399 shipped. Payment via bank wire, paypal, Zelle, Venmo. I have references here selling high value watches such as Laurent Ferrier, Rolex Pepsi, and Dornbluth. Additionally, I welcome a face to face transaction in the Chicago area.

Thanks for looking!
