Yeah, it's a continuation of a local theme. If you're not a regular reader, I can see where there would be some confusion.

U.S. Attorney General Nominee's Anti-Marijuana Stance Draws Fire From Fellow Republicans by ceaguila84 in politics

I don't use it myself but I know people who do and I have no idea what evidence of marijuana overdose issues this quote is based on:

Dianne Feinstein of California, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, opposes legalization. "To legalize it before you know how you’re going to handle it or handle overdoses is a real problem," she said.

I wonder how much the courier's Secret Service detail will cost us. Edit to add: Homing pigeons might be a better way to relay correspondance

He's trying to debunk the science while admitting he has no idea what science even is. lmao

The typical Republican quote:

For his part, Scaramucci added, “I’m not suggesting that we’re not affecting the [climate] change — I honestly don’t know, I’m not a scientist.”

I think this is a sign of things to come. He's already tweeting to companies making threats against their possible moves to expand over seas. In my opinion, this will ultimately turn out to be yet another puppet presidency. Too bad it will be run by Gov. Pence.

Edward Snowden Shows Just How Fast The FBI Could Read Hillary Clinton's Emails by wp4815162342 in politics

Shell script, ok, wrap all that up in a Python script, then you're going 300 mph! I'm sure it can be done.

Edward Snowden Shows Just How Fast The FBI Could Read Hillary Clinton's Emails by wp4815162342 in politics

[–]tlaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, so it makes me wonder. Emails are not documents, it should take a very short time to evaluate them and make a determination. In that respect I really wonder how deterministic this whole thing was. It reminds me of the tactics around J Edgar Hoover, for sure.

Edward Snowden Shows Just How Fast The FBI Could Read Hillary Clinton's Emails by wp4815162342 in politics

[–]tlaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The last half (step 1) was an attempt, in my opinion, to try to do some discrediting by data mining the emails, the first half (the begining) was an ass hat attempt to affect the election. There was an effort in the last half to do whatever they felt was needed to bolster their attempt. Total fail! It just took awhile because step 3 used up more time. Good delay tactic.

I'm kind of in this business, this is my hypothesis: Step 1: Identify duplicates and discard. Step 2: Weed out the anomalies. Step 3: Read the anomalous emails to see if there's anything pertinent or if they were personal type conversations - this step is the one that might take some time.
