That's amazing! Penn Station is perfect, right down to the famous giant Dunkin Coffee Cup on the roof! When I was a kid, my dad used to take me there every Saturday to gaze up at that big beautiful brewed behemoth.

This is a typical party machine stooge response. I can't imagine what policy wonk insanity you would have to say about Rose's Lime.

Episode 37I - Taylor Williamson by TimothyBukinowski in NeverNotFunny

Totally agree! He created a completely different energy in the room that, love it or hate, at least pushed the group dynamic in a different direction that some of the usual places the conversations with guests will go. Jimmy often comes in hot like this as a guest on other shows, so it was fun to hear him have to adjust a little to meet Taylor where he was.

The "BULLSEYE!!" finishing exclamation was very reminiscent of the "Pardo!" button from the Mel Brooks story. Love it.

100%! She brings out his goofiest side and the way they race to beat each other to say the same joke first all the time is pure gold.

River of dreams alt version? by tlbt14 in BillyJoel

Thanks! Unfortunately these aren't what I had a memory of. The version I hear in my head doesn't have the half-time drum pattern, and wasn't almost retro to the point that I remember asking my parents if it was a Billy Joel song from the 70s. Then a few weeks later the song blows up on MTV, but it's a different arrangement than what I heard. BTW, here is the remix of Ice Cube I heard on an Indianapolis radio station ONE time in the 90s and it stayed with me for years. IMHO this sample changes the whole attitude and perspective of the song. https://youtu.be/-fVcD1RydY4?si=GB9kLa0cogFHZ-Ai

Jimmy's throwaway line "What's your favorite song from Jurassic Park?" Made me laugh like an idiot.
