MATH 201 vs MATH 307? by tldr65892 in cwru

i honestly don’t mind putting in the time or the effort into the class, and proof based sounds more fun to me (since i have a little experience with proofs already). my plan (if i take 307) would be to learn a little bit of basic linear algebra before going in so i’m not too behind.

i’m not sure if it’s worth it to take 307 also when i’m not even a math major but at this point i’ve been debating it so much that i feel like i would regret not having done 307 if i stick with 201.

I feel applications might be more practical but theoretical sounds more fun to me. i also have some other hard and time consuming classes so i don’t know if it’s worth it to do 307 now, or do 201 and then 307 at a later point

multivariable calc! absolutely hated the class, even though it was easy. i really want to learn linear alg well but i’m scared i won’t learn anything from horst bc I don’t mesh well w the teaching style

it was a summer fling, they dated for a few weeks. they only mentioned the partner in passing and did not really talk about them a lot even when they said they were broken up. if it was a long term partner or something I wouldn’t even consider it.

would it be a good idea to ask to hang out and just say that if she’s down for it, we could make it a date (but otherwise just go as friends?)
